We were really craving sushi and as we are new to this area, we asked our friend to surprise us. He mentioned this was his go-to place for sushi and it was a full buffet. We had our favorite in the Orlando area and since the pandemic started, we haven’t gone before we left the area.We arrived right at the end of the dinner rush so it was a bit more relaxed. Our server was a great guy and kept us plied with sake. The buffet was clean and well stocked. Food was fresh and it did not smell fishy or off. Yes, this is one of the pricier buffets- fresh clams and oysters shucked on the half shell, snow crab legs, too. There was even a carving station with sausages, picanha, and other meats. The only thing missing is a ramen station.Of course we ate too much! It was so worth it! For us, it was a good 30 minute drive but again, it was worth it.I’m glad to see buffets still around considering the global situation. It was busy and I was glad for the owners.

Restaurant was pleasantly busy when I arrived. Their was a patron waiting to be seated before me. With no host to be found she let a waiter know to sit her. He then sat me.All the sushi I had tasted pleasant except the hamachi which tasted odd and I had to spit it out.Their dessert area had 5 total desserts… not five kinds. 5 total. For the whole restaurant. The creme brûlée had a burnt flavor and I stopped eating after one bite.I was quickly brought my check without requesting it while I was still eating. I paid, promptly left and won’t be back.
We did not eat here as they would not take a reservation for 10 people. Have been celebrating birthdays here for years...no more!
The price of dinner does not reflect on the quality of food. It's overpriced and the quality is poor. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather have given money to the bankrupt Old Country Buffet and as dirty as they were.Santo's should consider buying the franchise Golden Corral to get some proper lessons on quality of food.I'd recommend you pass on this if you're up for it.
I ate here a while ago and forgot to post about my experience. I went there mainly for the snow crabs and was utterly shocked when I found sea lice on the crabs. This place obviously doesn't wash their food at all before serving it. It tasted like salt water almost as if they got it out of the sea and steamed it and served it. It was disgusting and very displeasing not mention expensive.

The quality of this place has gone south. Please avoid at all costs.I understand the pandemic, suppliers, employees and everything else that can go wrong within a business is affecting most establishments. But when you see a place that has gone from a great experience to let me take your money it is sad.We have been customers since the beginning. Today we went and super disappointed, dissatisfied with the taste of the food. The sushi was bland and had an off taste. The Chinese buffet was horrible and I just decided to leave the meats alone at that point..Save your money and spend it elsewhere.. I mean Publix had better tasting sushi to be honest.
Amazing experience, great service, and delicious food. My server was Andres and he was very attentive and helpful, additionally the buffet had a wide variety of options and I definitely got more than my money’s worth by the end. 11/10
