I've been coming here for years. The food on average is good for the value. Some times the chicken is better than other times. I guess it depends on the cook. The service is below average and getting worse. Today, the lady who attended at the register did not even say thank you. I guess they are charging for sauces now. At least that is what the lady said.Service and food is what brings people back. I order to pick up on average once a week and spend about $50.00 each time. However, I'll drive a little further north for some time to get the chicken. I'll come back at some point and see if the service and care for customers improved. Hopefully it does because is a convenient location for me. If the service does not change, then I'll change places for good.
I order a criollo fish for $13.99 it was breaded very small with a thin line of white fish if that was fish with a dark sauce and very salty. The breading came all apart at the first cut. It came with a separate small salad swimming in a very salty watery dressing With 2 tostones that was as hard as wood. It was so disgusting that I had to throw it away. I try to talk to the girl at the cashier but she didn’t understand me plus she had a long line and the other cashier was just walking around instead of helping out. Never again I will step into La Brasa!!!
I'd stay away from.the beef it was salty. However, the fries and rice were good. Service was ok. Price was ok for the quantity of food received. Wouldn't drive all the way there for a Latin meal but I was in the area but it was fair for the price. I personally would choose other options for Latin cuisine.
Worst experience ever. Food quality is gone bad. Staff members has no idea what customer service is. Spent $35 on the food and just asked for an extra cup fo spicy onions and got a response saying its $0.25 exta each cup. When I presented my credit card to charge then they said next time. We can't charge $0.25 on a card. Well if you can't charge it then why you are even mentioning it??? Maybe to tell your customers to not ask for it next time. This place is not like how it was before. Never going again there..
Good food, good, fairly fast service. My only complaint is the prices. My kids and I like to get the boneless chicken breast meal and the price jumped from $9 to $14!
My husband and I eat here periodically. Today we ordered the family meal of Lomo saltado. The meat was gamey and underseasoned but the worst part was we found a baby ROACH in our fries. This place needs to be inspected asap.
Very bad service I spent 60 dollars in a family meal and the lady at the cagier gave me 4 containers for the sauce. When I e asked her for more she said that’s it. Another lady came to buy and got a personal meal 10 dollars and she got 4 container’s so where is the rule of x amount per meal? If who she knows or who she likes? Owner needs to review this as this is not clear why she refused to give me extra containers for a family meal, plus two soups and plantains ?
I went to la Brasa restaurant in coconut creek Eder a hole fish went I got the fish it taste funny went and told them the fish taste like it was not cook inside, they told me if the want another one to I told them now I do not trust them in cooking the fish so they offer me a churrasco I say ok the fish was 25.95 the churrasco was $ 18.95 went I told them to gime the difference they keep insistent that the fish was cook and the y charge me 25.95 for the churrasco be carful next time you go there the
Food is good, but I was charge a different price that is showing. Here said on their website that Lomo saltado is $12.99 I was charged $14.49 when I pick up.What upset me the most is when I ask over the phone how much is my total they didn't tell how much is was and quickly hang up.
I should have tried the chicken which they seem to specialize in. The steak was impossible to cut with the flimsy plasticware provided. The steak was so tough that I had to swallow entire chunks...awful. The corn side dish was served almost cold and was a brick. The plantains were tasty. There are many Brasilian-Caribbean style restaurants in this area that serve excellent food, I will not be coming back.
