This place was awesome. We ate here the whole time we were in cocoa beach. Everyone was very nice and the food was excellent.
Time to grab a quick lunch while out running errands. I hadn't been to Taco City since 2001, and had been meaning to stop some day since we moved back to the area five years ago - but it always seemed we were never in the area at meal time. The order at the counter/delivered by staff style fits well with the laid back atmosphere. Food was very tasty. Ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. Premises were clean and clutter free. Staff was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a Jack's Seafood Wrap and a shredded chicken Ching (or was that a chong?)
First off, the service was great, considering how short staffed they were. They hustled and took care of everyone. Outside of that, the food was only okay. I have reviewed dozens of taco joints, and this was the strangest queso I have ever experienced. It has a very unique flavor that confuses the pallet. My meal tasted only of queso as it over powered the rest of the food. The ambiance is cool and feels local, but unfortunately, this is not somewhere we will return to.
AMAZING FOOD!!! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!!! The guacamole is amazing and so is basically everything!!!
We stayed at the inn across the street and walked across for dinner. Great place! Great food! Friendly smiling staff.
Stopped in today for some quick tacos. Great food, friendly people and a good price. Will definitely return. Got the a la cart mahi and shrimp tacos and loved all the greens on them. Food settled great! Thank you! Yummy Jalapeño ranch sauce.
The food was so fresh and delicious! We just stopped in after passing it on the way to the beach and our family of four all loved it. It's a little different because you just go in and seat yourself and look at the menus that are at the table and when you're ready to order you go up to the counter. At the counter they give you complimentary chips and salsa and your drinks (we sat outside and they brought the chips/salsa and water out to us). The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The portions were generous. Highly recommend this spot!
We hadn't planned to stop here for dinner, but I'm so glad we did! We enjoyed eating outside on the front patio. The menu had enough variety to satisfy all of the picky eaters in my family. They were out of Corona when we were there, so that was a disappointment for my husband - but that was the only downside. The food was great, the environment was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would go back if we are ever in the area again in the future.
We stayed across the street, arrived late and hungry on a Saturday. Taco City was just about to close but they happily served our family with the best service and smiles. We all really enjoyed their delicious food (including my picky kids) and appreciated their hospitality!
NEVER been here before. But your typical taco place. Order at counter and pay but they serve you. Surprisingly spicy ? at least for me but it was good. Fiance couldn't finish his plate which is very rare. We tried the funnel fries for dessert they had a nice kick but not over powering. Worth checking them out.
