We traveled to the Cocoa Beach Pier after spending most of the day at the Kennedy Space Center. We were quite hungry when we arrived and we hoped to find a place to eat at the pier. We were quite pleased that we chose Pelican's Bar and Grill. The ambiance and location were exactly what we were looking for. The hostess was pleasant and seated us immediately at a table next to a window overlooking the beach and ocean. I am sorry to have forgotten our server's name but he was excellent and fun to talk with. We chose the Mojo Pork Nachos and the Crab and Shrimp Dip appetizers. The appetizers are pricey but they were large for sharing. Our party had Fish and Chips, Florida Gator Melt, Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, and Pier Burgers. We all liked what we ordered. We thought all of our dishes were well prepared and good. The portions were generous and the meal prices reasonable. We don't know if we will ever make it back to Cocoa Beach but we do know a place we would recommend to our friends who might travel there.

I went to Pelican’s 3/29 for lunch with high hopes. The view can’t be beat. I ordered cocoanut shrimp. I love seafood and I was really looking forward to some awesome fresh shrimp. It was deep fried frozen shrimp I can buy at the grocery store back in Ohio. I WAS NEVER SO DISAPPOINTED. I could not eat it. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. I was only in town 36 hours for a funeral and I completely wasted my time and money at Pelican’s. ☹️

Overpriced for mediocre food. Busy due to spring break. Fish and chips were soggy when arrived and not a whole lot of food for the price. Pork nachos were disgusting and not much flavor. Would skip the whole pier eatting if came again.

Stopped in for some food after a day on the beach. First shock was when we were told to lower our umbrella on a hot, sunny day because it was a “no umbrella day.” Next shock was ordering a fried chicken sandwich that came with tendons and fat still in the chicken. Made the chicken slimey. The only saving grace was the fries, those were really good.

*This is an "I'm just getting sum"n to eat place"*Took the family here for lunch. Some of my kids have shellfish allergies so the waitress filled out a form to ensure their meals was cooked away from ours. I loved that part. Anyways the food was Ok not good not bad just ok. The view was excellent and the staff was nice but the food was nothing to brag about. I order the shrimp roll and NEVER in A MILLION years would I thought it was gonna be a scoop of mashed seafood on top of a slice of bread. BUT surprisingly it was kind of good. The bread was toasted and had a garlic flavor. The seafood dip was ok. My daughter loved the chips, son loved his burger, steak and wings. My kids said the fries taste like hashbrowns. Thats a good thing coming from them. My husband said the fish tacos were ok and the Maryland crab cakes were good. The drinks was good as well strong and flavourful.

If rated only on location, Pelican would be a 4 or 5 but it is a restaurant with only average food. Great location on the pier and good for a drink or quick bite while looking at the ocean

Food was great! We ordered it through the bartender and took it to go so we could eat it on the beach. I was halfway through my poke bowl before I thought to take a picture. The pork nachos were decent though the chips were kind of soggy. The poke bowl was delicious fish and chips were good too!

While visiting Cocoa Beach, we stay within walking distance of the pier so Pelican's usually shows up on our radar. We dropped in on a Thursday night about 5:30pm and were promptly seated by a window overlooking the beach and ocean. Our server Katie and her trainee were cordial and accommodating. I was drinking Rum Runners and my wife was drinking Pina Coladas. Both drinks were mixed very well. For dinner our choices consisted of Tuna Poke Bowl and the Chicken Sandwich with a piece of Keylime Pie and Chocolate Cake to go. Although the food was nothing exceptional it was still enjoyable. Overall, we had a good time.

Self seating outside .Food so so..Amazing ocean viewHappy hour at 4 pm
