The burritos are amazing and HUGE. Wife and I both got a burrito and could have just split one. Everything about the mail tastes great. Staff was great, food came out quick. Loved it.
This is our go-to Mexican restaurant. Always consistent and delicious. The food is not heavy and is made with fresh ingredients. Our favorites are Chipotle Tequila Shrimp and Chori Pollo with chorizo, comes with flour or corn tortillas. Enchiladas are good as well. The queso is very good and the chips good. Not heavy or greasy like at some of the local restaurants. Not sure why there have been negative reviews. The wait staff has always been awesome and consistent. Food comes out fast unless they are busy but that is par for the course with any busy restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant for solid Mexican food.
Turned me away for a to go order on Cinco de Mayo. Told me they were too busy. What kind of customer service is that? I will NEVER spend a penny there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our first visit to this place will definitely be our last. There were multiple issues, but the deal breaker was when they served my entree with a very visible bug on the plate. When I pointed it out to the server later, he did not seem very concerned, and he did not remove the charge for the entree from the bill, even though I had barely touched it. My daughter confessed that she had found a bug in the tortilla chips too, but discreetly removed it so as not to gross us out. Nope, nope, nope.
Amazing authentic experience. The food is delicious, and very original. We had one mishap with order but they quickly fixed it without any hesitation. Lovely staff, and must see server who can carry 10 trays on his one arm with food! The taste is very authentic like you came from a restaurant in Mexico. They can make any thing vegetarian, which is best! Very nice decore inside as well, and good outdoor seating.
The food here is good and you get a good amount for your money. The chips and salsa is very flavorful, and so is the rest of the food. Our server was nice and the restaurant seemed clean. Good amount of parking and outdoor seating available.
This restaurant has a few of my favorite things. Chia Margaritas & Molcajete Bowls. If you are not familiar, then go give it a try! Staff is great, and all the food is good, something for everyone. And tell them if it's your birthday!
Hubby and I wanted Mexican and went to our usual El Tucan, but unfortunately they had no parking. Still wanting Mexican, we tried La Catrina again. We figured we haven't been there in well over a year and it surely had to of gotten better. Nope. The server was nice and friendly and remembered everything without writing it down. The food is a different story. We both ordered at same time, but my dinner was brought out at least 5 minutes before my husband's. I ordered a taco and quesadilla combo, which was supposed to have refried beans and rice on the side. The refried stuff wasn't beans, instead of was refried sauce or soup. Not a bean in sight. And the quesadilla and taco were drowning in the refried liquid and oil. I hate soggy food and this was beyond soggy. I suffered through the quesadilla, but took the taco apart and ate the inside. I also asked the server for regular refried beans instead of the soup I got and he said that's what their refried beans were tonight. I asked for some black beans on the side. The came out and were very good. I will remember this trip and just not return.
La comida es deliciosa, muy buen servicio y la comida llego rápido. 100% recomendado
