The website says open till midnight we arrived there at 10:55 and they turned us away. The hostess stated that they are not taking any further customers I looked inside there was only one couple. And when I stated that it states they are open till midnight her answer was that there is nothing they can do they kitchen was be broken down for the night. I would have given them a zero but it wasn’t and option if there not will to honor what is advertised than it does not say much about the owner and franchise.
First let me say that this location is FAR superior to the one one the island.l ( don’t go there!!!)The cocoa beach location’s staff is friendly and energetic! Our server, Jeremy, was such a delight. He is just one of the reasons we will be traveling just a bit further to frequent the Cocoa Beach location again and again.
So glad we stopped here! We are visiting for the boat races and ate here for breakfast. Despite being packed full and the waitresses running around like crazy, everything was amazing..Our server, Joann, was absolutely wonderful.Food came out surprisingly fast and was delicious.The entire staff smiled and joked around together the whole time even though they were busy, it was very nice to see employees who seemed to enjoy being at work.
Went with my grandson and our two burgers were very greasy where we didn’t even really eat the burger because it was really greasy
Nope!On vacation from CA. Quick bite befre heading over the KSC/Space Ctr.We've been to Denny's restaurants all over the country. We should have read the reviews before we went here. Sign said to the effect that "we are understaffed, expect delays". In most restaurants you don't need a hostess to seat you at the counter so we seated ourselves at the counter. We sat for 4-5 minutes with noone attending to us. I asked the waitress who was giving us water glasses, "could we please have some menus when you get a chance?". Punk kid/waiter whose name starts with J, not included in our conversation at all, said loudly as he was walking by "People who seat themselves don't get menus". My brother asked the woman who was our initial contact, "We didn't know we needed to be escorted to the counter. Is there somewhere else you'd like uys to sit? Should we go out front and start over?". She said everything was fine. Turns out the jerk was soon-after, our waiter. It seems withholding menus was his solution for punishing us for seating ourselves? Attitude, no eye contact. My daughter has two degrees in psychology, and did a "kill-them-with-kindness" approach. Food was below average. That guy needs to go. Chasing customers away and bringing the Denny's quality of restaurant customer care way down. We will be in Cocoa Beach again. But not to the Denny's on Atlantic Ave.
I have been at this location several times. They are short staffed. But who isn't in this economy. The server Jeremy on duty always greats with a smile and does his best even when extremely busy. This location is one of the cleaner location I have seen.
This place is downright awful! The employees can't do their jobs then blame the customers. The employees treat customers like they did something wrong when the employee misquoted a price. I get it, accidents happen, but these people here are truly disgraceful. Literally called the cops on a customer over DENNYS mistake. I like his people call customers Karen's, when it's this type of terrible service in today's businesses. It almost as if you expect decent customer service as a guest you're the problem! What a terrible visit choosing this Dennys.
Had breakfast there last Sun. Got food poisoning.Not a good start to my holiday. Will not be back or recommend to anyone
I am really upset how terribly we were treated this morning. I understand your understaffed, there was 1 server and he had 8 tables. There was a lady setting up tables for him. We waited 15 minutes, no one acknowledged us. Two girls came in after us and sat themselves down and was waited on immediately. I asked the lady who set up the tables of we can be sat and she took us to a table. I understand we have to wait since he was the only server. But then the next family comes in and they didn't have to wait to be sat. Once he sat down that family he started to take their order immediately. We had been there for 30 minutes and he never he came by to say hi or ask for pur drinks. I walked over to him because I was offended that we were ignored. I told him, that we have been here for 30 minutes and he has skipped us and is now taking their order and not ours. His response was that we sat ourselves and that's why he has not attended us. I told him that those two girls sat themselves and you helped them right away. By the way we did not seat ourselves. So we walked out. Management needs to get more staffing during Spring Break. I am a very patient person but when I see your deliberately ignoring me on purpose now, that not right. Don't come here. Horrible customer service. I am a restaurant manager and how he handled this situation is very unprofessional.
Went to Cocoa Beach Denny's this morning and had a great time!! Waited a little for a table as they were quite busy but not too long. Our server, Jeremy was amazing!! Ordered the all-american and an omelet which came out super fast and delicious. Kudos to the cook.We loved the atmosphere. The entire staff seemed to enjoy being there. 5 stars!! Keep up the great work guys, we'll be back.
