First time here. Will not be my last. Amber, our server, greeted us politely with a smile. We got to get to know her better as our meal passed. She was friendly and attentive and patient as we perused the lengthy menu. The food in my case was grilled mahi mahi dinner. It was delicious. The side were mashed potatoes, and they were the real mccoys. Not instant. They were creamy with real chunks in them. Delicious. It also came with broccoli which was cooked perfectly with a nice light seasoning on them. Again delicious. And they have good taste in beverages. They offer Pepsi and not coke. My wife and I also shared a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese. Both very good. My wife ordered a Cajun fettuccine which she thoroughly enjoyed. Menu variety is ample so we will be back to try something else. Amber recommended their key lime pie. We were full. Maybe next time I will review the key lime. I’m sure it will hit the spot too. Looking forward to my next meal there. Great job!!
Service sucks
Good food, drinks, and fun service. We ordered fish tacos and loaded bacon cheese fries. The Mango Tango and something caramel Martini (can't remember the name of it). The place does have an issue with the ac, it was rather warm in there. But it didn't bother me, I'm at the beach for hot weather anyways.
The first time we went to the Ale House was for lunch over Memorial Day weekend. There were 8 of us in our party, but we got seated right away. I got the Cobb Salad and it was very good - fresh vegetables, plenty of chicken, and good blue cheese dressing. Our server, Eric, was outstanding. He was prompt, efficient, and patient with our large group. He was also hilarious - he told us some jokes and gave us a couple of riddles to solve. We enjoyed it so much that my husband, our son, and I went back for dinner a couple of days later. On that visit I got the Mahi Mahi handheld sandwich. Delicious! And Eric was our server again! He remembered us and gave us another riddle as well as a couple of bar trick challenges. That guy is a gem and deserves a raise! We also loved the convenient location of the restaurant because we were staying at the La Quinta Inn a couple of blocks away.
Oh Yes.....so close to hotel Day's Inn. Good food and worth it. #seawatertravel Out front they have the coolest sign like big banner that says "Hiring NON-stupid people" So funny. My husband and I laughed so hard.
Stopped in for a late lunch, early dinner. Had the bang bang shrimp which was delicious and just enough spice. Hubby had the Tai Asian wrap which he LOVED and I had the Cobb salad. Both were excellent. We were in no hurry and didn't feel like we were rushed at all. Would definitely eat here again. Sports bar feel with plenty of tv's.
The worst experience ever. Several other guests simply left after it took over an hour for food. We ordered and they had run out of crab cakes and fish. Both which we ordered. Note: we are in Florida and they ran out of fish! The management and kitchen let thee serve ring staff down. The servers get hurt with a $0 tip but it’s not their fault.Ownership needs to step in right away or close the placeHighly recommend you avoid this place.
We have been to the Ale House Restaurant in Cocoa Beach before and it was awesome. Tonight not so much; the soda was discussing and tasted like plain club soda. I can’t eat BBQ sauce, didn’t order it yet it was on my classic burger. My husband’s dinner was good he said but he will eat anything.Service was was okQuestion: all the woman wore short tight yoga shorts that left nothing to the imagination. I wonder why the men wore long baggy pants? Some might like to have their dress code to be the same as the women. Not sure if we will be a return customer.Oh and you might want to rethink your sign out front that reads “Now hiring- not stupid people “ not funny!!!
Sat for over an hour and was told they had kitchen staffing shortages .Server was apologetic and brought chips for us to munch on !Other tables were waiting as long and we were told 6 tables were waiting in line before our meal could be cooked .One server rudely informed us when asked how long it could be that she just worked up front and didn’t have anything to do with delay ! We walked out and didn’t even finish our chlorinated sodas.Maybe the food is good but not worth the wait.
The only thing worse than the cold, stale food, is the incredibly rude and uncompassionate staff. After it took an hour and a half to receive our food, and I said that we needed a compensation on the bill, I was berated and scolded and told not to tell them what to do. I've never been treated so abhorently by someone in the customer service industry in my life. I would ABSOLUTELY never return and would wholeheartedly NOT recommend anyone ever visit this establishment. I challenge the owner of this restaurant to respond to this review.
