Everyone at 7am had a smile,and a good morning to us, no jacking there jaws, just TCB which means guick service and great food.
I’ve been to Waffle Houses all around Orlando and this by far is the best one! I just left here and the quality of food and server Joe or John was great! We will be back soon.
Well it's 12:40...and I am currently at waffle House... I pulled in, no car was in the parking lot. all the lights are on, call seeing that I didn't see anyone... then two other cars pulled up and try to actually get out and go in and the door was locked.. I then tried to call again I get a voicemail that, "says that yes, we are open we are unable to answer the phone right now; and please come join us at our dining location. I'm sure that's a standard text and or script, but for me to call and have no answer and then while I'm writing this somebody walks out of the back and doesn't answer, phone or door...but there's a sign on the door saying something about thirdshift.. closed...why be open but doors locked? This is now the fourth time I have come to this location and it be closed...
we dont go there that often but i must say the food was good. it was served fast and the server was excellent.

Update: 2/12/22-7am..The manager James is very kind. He understood my feelings!! I appreciate his care and concern. Due to mr. James I have changed my rating from a 1 start to a 5 start!!Original post: On 2/12/22 I visited the location in Clearmont, FL in the Hamhock Village. I believe that the poor service we received from Caleb was fueled by racism. It was around 1am in the morning on my birthday. I came alongside my 15yr old daughter. We walked in and there were no more than four tables and 1 person at the bar, I was happy that it wasn’t a large crowd. We sat in the front in the chairs meant for waiting to be seated. We waited for apx 20 mins; however, it was all good Bc we were not in a rush. I believe we would’ve waited longer if another party didn’t walk in to be seated when they did. This party is white and I am Black. Caleb then says to me, “you can sit over there.” He said it as if we were ignorant for waiting and not seating ourselves. I’ve always waited to be seated whenever I visit any other Waffle House, so if the process is different at this location I am unaware. Then he comes to the table and hand us our menus and says “do you know what you are having?”.. no greeting, just plan and dry. I said, “we will start with something to drink.” I ordered a coffee. My coffee was bathwater temperature, that’s how I described it to my daughter in a joking manner. I did not complain. After he brings us our drinks he stands at the table looking at his notepad appearing to wait for our order, so we order. Our food comes out fast, which pleases me. He hands us our plates then walks away. We weren’t given any condiments, so we wait our turn to ask. I see the ketchup, so I get it but there’s no syrup in my vicinity. He walks by, I ask for the syrup. He places it on the table and walk away. I notice there was no butter on the waffles or on the table, so we wait again. The wait is getting long and he’s nearby so I say excuse me.” No response, so I call out to him again thinking he couldnt hear me. No response. I call again, no response. So I stand up and say excuse me. He says “what?” I say can we have some butter?. He says it will be a few minutes.I say for butter? He says yes! End result, we leave not finishing our meals.…
Waited 10 minutes for a table, there where three empty tables that had to be clean. Waiter finally started to clean tables, instead one at a time, he took dirty dishes off each table a little at a time. Than three other groups walked in define us, all three groups sat at the counter that wasn’t cleaned up. He started taking their orders before finish cleaning the other tables. Didn’t acknowledge us until we walked out the door than it was a sarcastic” have a nice day”
Wasn't what I expected. But wasn't bad. Idk if it's just this location but why would it just be one. I haven't visited a waffle house in years. Seems they dulled down the menu and consolidated a lot. Used to be so many choices and variations of things. Otherwise things were fine
Food and service was great! Austin was amazing! One of my favorite places and definitely my favorite breakfast place!
