They have made some operational changes. But still great burgers. They have you pick up orders at the counter and their wait staff is one person. And ordering is done on a computer screen. (I don't like those things) couldn't see how to make requests for special orders.
Steak and Shake has changed so much. The food is still good its just that when you walk in it no longer has that family restaurant feel. It is all self serve. You order from a kiosk, and go get your own drink and then sit down. They call out your number and you go get your food and that's it. No more waitress etc. Very impersonal. We did not like it at all. Sorry guys you changed the whole dynamic of a family restaurant. Sad .
Excellent food and service during a VERY busy lunch hour.. The staff did a great job keeping upwith everything Our shakes were perfect and lunch (5 way chili and steakburger) were hot and delicious. Appreciate the effort so we don’thave to cook:) Thank you!
Horrible experience. Spent $4.59 on a 3pc chicken strips only to receive “strips” that were the size of nuggets. Also my husband asked for NO pickles. Receive pickles and we got no napkins or cheese sauce we paid for. Never going back!
Fresh hot fast just a fast food culinary delight. Service was outstanding. Can't wait for a next visit, as we are new to the area, no more McDonald's for us.
If you're gonna go here be sure to check your order while you're actually still at the pick up window. If you decide to pull into a spot to check, and find something's wrong or missing, it's almost impossible to go back around to get it sorted out without waiting a long time. You'll need to go inside, which... you know, defeats the purpose of a drive though. Solid advice anywhere, but, particularly here. Check your order at the window.
We had to wait a little while which is to be expected because they make everything fresh when you order it, the food was good and fresh and the milkshakes as always were awesome
