The male servers seem more attentive than the female servers, who were congregated around the host stand talking. Though the restaurant was stll quite empty, I sat there for 10 minutes after I was seated before my waitress showed up. I also suspect my bill was padded. My waitress urged me to have the grilled chicken chimi but she did not mention the dish would be $4 more than listed on the menu. The food here is good and the service friendly. But pay VERY close attention to your bill.
Today we saw the restaurant while driving by, and we decided to give it a try since they have an outside covered open area. We decided to sit outside because we are still not comfortable eating inside due to the Covid-19. So we waited right in the main entrance and it took too long for someone approach us and help us with the table.When we sat down, the first waitress, very friendly, help us with the orders, and actually the food came a few minutes later since the restaurante didn't have many customers during lunch time today (Thursday). Until that time, our experience was okay.Once the food arrived, I had to ask 3 times to 2 different employees for a fork, a knife, and some napkins, which took a while for some one bring them to our table. Not sure why since the restaurant was not busy. Also, once the food arrived, many flies started to bother us, so we asked if the fan above our table could be turned on, and no one was able to turn it on. So the flies became an issue. The food was not so tasty, and the attitude of the employees and time of their responses to our requests were not a good experience. We know insects are common in Florida, but the approach of the employees were not acceptable so we decided to ask to, at least, take one of the plates to go due to the fly issues. When the box with the food arrived back to the table, the check did not come with it, so I had to ask for the check. When the check came, it was left on the table and the second waitress left without asking how everything was, if we had any issues, etc. Usually common questions to have some feedback form the customers. We felt that they didn't care if they had customers happy or not, or even customers at all. Not sure if that happens to many customers, but this was a terrible experience! Never coming back and do not recommend.
Omg I fiddled around to read reviews tired of resort food son wanted something with shrimp and this place is so flavorful! I got some chicken dish and we grabbed a slice of cake to try since we saw the pic and omg so good pricey but good
Excellent authentic Mexican food. Great patio area. Reasonably priced and food was fresh and authentic. All dishes we had were great. Tasty, hot and good service
We are from Southern California so we are critical and consider ourselves Mexican food fans. We came in on a busy Saturday and were seated right away by the friendly guy at the door. Our server Valentina was quick and kept the plates cleared. The chips and salsa are decent. The refried beans and rice are authentic. The enchilada platter is pretty good, in an effort to get our food out quickly, our cheeses weren't melted. We will return.
Excellent place!!Very nice environment, family ambient delicious food I did really enjoy my “Spinach enchiladas” takes a little time to be served but it worth it because wile waiting we can enjoy the live mariachis!!! Beautiful Family time.
Dad wanted to try. Impeccable.I loved my mango margarita but I'm a light weight.Chicken chimichanga was BEST I've ever had. Marinated grilled chicken with a green chili sauce. I wanted to take a picture butt it disappeared too quickly. Dad had a vegetarian quesadilla. NOT just cheese. Peppers & onions & stuff.So very glad we came. Can't wait to come back for Mariachi night. Alexandra is worth asking for.
This is not a Mexican restaurant, let's say it's more like taco bell, hate it, one of the worst food I ever have eaten, to the owner how dare you to call yourself a Mexican restaurant, your food was served cold and had no Latin flavor, please to all Latinos do not, I say again do not come to this so-called Mexican restaurant it is pure garbage food
Great service, the alcoholic drinks took quite a while to get but we weren't in a rush so it was ok.... Kids loved the grilled cheese and chicken tenders...I had a top shelf margarita and grilled steak with onions which was great... My wife ordered huevos rancheros and liked her meal... Drinks were priced fair and plenty strong... Recommend ? giving this place a try
The issues we had kind of threw us from ever coming back to this location, sadly. We tried to get help with a fajita meal that was piled excessively with extra peppers and hardly any meat. We had to come back later in the night when we realized the server kept our debit card, despite the long wait we had when we were originally checking out. Great food, would have been 5 stars if not for the wasted fajita meal and the service.
