Was worried because we ordered at the end of the night and had never been there before. But there food was the best I've had. Ate that night, ate it cold and warmed up for lunch. Good portions, good flavor, great service. Recommend to anyone.
A lunch for three turned into a $120 eating frenzy for us. Not because of prices but because it was simply THAT good.Trying every third item on the menu became a must!!!After looking for a good sushi restaurant in the area for three years were sold. Fast service, great food and nothing bad to say about it!!
Food is excellent and service is just as well! If you haven't tried this place I reccomend giving it a go!
There is good sushi and sushi that smells like fish that has been sitting out for far to long, and this sushi definitely smelt like it old fish. Two put three of my rolls were great, but neither of those two rolls has raw fish. The other three smelled and tasted so bad I couldn't eat them.
Have had good sushi there many times, but today I ordered the firecracker roll and my boyfriend got the Godzilla roll— without a doubt the most disgusting thing Ive ever had. Writing this review as a warning— When the roll descriptions said “fried” we thought it meant the shrimp inside the roll was fried not that the whole roll itself was fried like some fair food you’d eat on a dare!! Battered and deep fried so the rice is hot but the fish still raw—- absolutely disgusting, we had to throw away both (expensive) rolls.
Conveniently located 4 stop lights on Rt 27 from 192. There is plenty of parking outside Mito which occupies the southern corner of this large strip mall. We were greeted upon entering and before us is a large sushi bar that spans the width of resturant and had a few people sitting there. On each side of the resturant are attractive seating areas. The server quickly provided us with menus where we each proceeded to select an entree roll and sushi by the piece. I ordered a sushi deluxe with came with soup or salad. We both enjoyed what we ordered, all of it was fresh and tender and created with care. We like local sushi places and have been to Japan so we know a little bit about Japanese hospitality, high quality fish and ambience. All these elements were found here and that made our sushi outing in Southern Cleremont a memorable one. We will return to Mito and recommend it!
Ordered the lunch shrimp hibachi. Clear soup was not hot and kinda tasted like a miso soup broth. Salad was standard hibachi salad. Never got to try the hibachi after finding a roach in my iced tea, that I had just finished drinking, we decided that would end out dining experience at Mito Sushi.
The customer experience at this establishment is 2/10. I gave them one more chance tonight and it was another dud. The only reason they get 2/10 is because the food is good. The service is horrendous.
My meal was great until I noticed all the "black stuff" on the green drain mat that was right in front of me in the fish cooler on top of the sushi bar I had finished what I ordered, so I just paid my check and left. Did I just eat fish that was stored with black mold? A lot of it. Or was it black stain? Fear and anxiety, and now I'm just trying to keep it down.
The food is okay not amazing. The only reason I come here is that it's close to my house. My biggest issue with this place is they blatantly package veggie/cooked rolls together with raw rolls and touching without regard to possible allergies, condition(s), and/or dietary preferences that would make raw fish dangerous to eat. Due to packaging with and touching a raw fish roll I was unable to eat my entire order. So upset. Please stop doing this unless you know exactly who ordered what rolls in a to go order.
