We have always gone to Lilly’s on the Lake - never expect much. It’s bar food, usually slow service, but great atmosphere. This will be our last time here. I understand inflation, but this was ridiculous. This was a “blackened chicken sandwich” for $17.25. Side of coleslaw is $7. If you’re going to raise prices this much, the food needs to be cooked better. Appetizer of fried pickle chips $15. Unfortunately, I don’t see how they can make it.

There was 18 of us. Advance reservation made. Had to wait 30 to 45 minutes for our seating. once seated they only had one waitress for our group. She wasnt the issue, she was only one person and was trying. It was also heard she was new. The issue was management and the kitchen. It took an hour and a half for the food, pretty much one plate at a time. Most food came out barely warm. By the time the last person was served half of the diners were finished. little to no refills on beverage. I spoke to the manager who became unprovoked belligerent to me. telling me nothing was wrong with any of the food. Finally, he compensated one of the lady's onion rings (big deal). My meal was a $20.00 hamburger and fries cold than room temperature. We are a chapter organization associated with a number of other sister chapters throughout Florida and they all will know how we were treated at this location. Just as we report the good places we equally pass on the poor ones. The manager was very nasty lacking any people communication skills. It is a shame as the location is beautiful and relaxing. The upside is we did find other places in the same area so our return visit will be there. Owners need to know this. I was easy to detect all the staff seemed to be stressed and unhappy.

The view is the only thing good here. The food so only ok. The prices were way too much! We will not be returning.

For over a year we avoided Lillys because of bad reviews. After seeing two seaplanes dock at the beach, we decided to give it a try. After waiting at the hostess counter, Luis B grunted and walked to the deck. We followed and got started with water with lemons. After delivering the water without, he walked by twice, ignoring us. We finally got his attention and he returned with a single very small slice of lemon. After continuing to ignore us walking by my wife went inside and got the lemon slices from another server. We ordered chips and onion rings. The chips were skimpy for the price. The salsa had no detectable seasoning, but the guacamole was a generous portion. The onion rings were excellent. He never spoke more than two words and usually walking away as we were talking. He did come by the table once and asked but walked away as we were answering. To check out, we had to go to the hostess table. As we were speaking with a polite female, he walked by dropping the bill on the table. I left my credit card and bill which he picked up promptly and took to the bar. I went there to retrieve my card and receipt. As soon as I set the receipts down, he swooped by grabbing the wrong receipt. Now I have to return to give the actual merchant receipt To the owner: If the servers share tips, he is probably benefiting from the other servers more than he deserves. As indifferent as Luis appeared, he either does not know how to get good tips or does not care.

Food was very good, server and staff were great. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. Great view of the lake from inside, but recommend the outdoor seating. Also have a Small beach area with chairs.

This place is great the food is really good I had one of the burgers the burger was great and the fries were fantastic. It's very cool to sit outside overlooking Lake Minneola. Great place for the family or on a date. You can park close to the restaurant and walk along Lake Minneola before or after your meal.

The view was great and my husband had the Island Platter which was good. I liked the fried pickles. Felt bad for the only one waiter. The smell inside was bad and the closer I got to the bathroom it got worse. Food was okay but not to my taste. It was just the smell!!!!

Bad service, bad food ,Very High prices, nice view of the lake. Definitely not recommended.

Disgusting service. Rude management and make up the prices as they go along. Been a few times and always someone too drunk to stand. Not family friendly and enjoy ripping off patrons $7.50 for a beer!!!!

We called in for lunch today, but after looking at the prices on the menu, changed our mind and just had one portion of fries, one coke and a coffee. Three small items came to $21.00. We waited ages for service and didn't even get offered a second cup of coffee. That's the last time we visit this venue. Views are amazing but that's the only thing going for this restaurant. We have visited many times before when it was an acceptable price, but $10.00 for a portion of fries and $5 for one small mug of coffee was completely unacceptable.
