No question that the customer service is excellent. Staff was extremely friendly and the food was really good. Didn’t like the settler beans much. Tasted like canned green beans just microwaved but everything else we had was delicious. Out of a lot of side options. Out of green tomatoes, okra, and grits. Can’t emphasize enough that the staff was friendly and helpful. Being out of a lot of the sides was disappointing but will return because the staff and the pecan pie were excellent.
Wow. What a great BBQ place. I saw an article online about a BBQ road trip in FL and this was the closest one to me so I figured I'd try it out. Very clean and friendly staff. They have all your usual BBQ offerings. I got the brisket with collards, fries, fried green tomatoes and mini corn muffins. The brisket was cooked well and very flavorful. The fried green tomatoes batter held onto the tomatoes and did not slip off after one bite. They also were not heavy battered so it was more about the tomatoes. The collards were well seasoned and tasted amazing. They also have a sauce bar with 6-7 different sauces. One to pair with most anyone's taste. I really enjoyed the sweet, the mustard base, and the dip that came with the tomatoes. Will definitely be back again. Definitely worth what I paid. Quality BBQ and quality staff.
Me and my mom were far from home when we came across this place, she thought the food looked good so we decided to stop by. We arrived and literally thought the place was closed, but Google said it was open. The parking lot was empty with just two other cars, we went inside and the place was empty with only one table of four. The place was clean, and everybody was very nice to us. The cashier greeted us and gave us food recommendations, we also got a sample of the meats we were interested in, and he was also very patient with us. We paid around $50 for a meal for two, called the "Q for two" and it was a total waste. We sat down and in about 7 minutes our food was out. The food was cold, the ribs were dry, and it just felt like the food was just served on a plate and brought out, didn't even attempt to reheat it. The sides on the other hand were hot, the fries were crispy and seemed freshly made. The ribs were tasteless, almost meatless. We tried serving ourselves some sauce but seemed to be out/empty. So now I had ribs with no sauce whatsoever, they didn't even have BBQ sauce as an option. Overall it was a waste of time and money, but we did get free cookies because it was our first time there, which will also be our last. I hope this review was helpful to some.

They are the nicest people there and make you feel like family! The ribs are awesome and their baked potatoes are very good, with all the good stuff you get to put on it. And don't forget a mess of collards! They are so good, almost as good as my mama's!! Their prices are comparable, but they're food is tastier than all the others. The sweet sauce is to die for! Their customer service is really delightful. Definitely going back.
Sincerely impressed. Grits are out of this world. Home made chips. Care put into each ingredient. Host gave excellent recommendations. Impressed with every last detail. Perfection with a perfectly fried egg on top. I am coming back to try the salads next time. Clean bathrooms. Thank you so much for being a hidden gem! I LOVE GOOD FOOD.
Omg this place has to be one of the best places I have been to in a long time. This is true southern style genuine BBQ. The nachos were out of this world and you can taste that everything is made in house even the chips! The ingredients are fresh and tasty. This was also my first time trying grits and they were absolutely sublime.The customer service was on point and the girl who took our order was patient, kind and very sweet. This is a 5 star establishment, and they need to expand. 10 out of 10 would def. recommend.
Food was amazing and so was staff. It was our first time here and let's just say we will back. We drove from Lakeland and it was worth the drive. Had the ribs, fried green tomatoes, corn, pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwich. Our family all loved it.
