In town on a work visit and heard this cafe was a nice lunch spot. Everyone in my group got sandwiches (that's the bulk of the selection), which were easily twice the size of the plate ? and heavily loaded with meats/fillings. Could have been a bit more toasty for my tastes, and I would have loved more cheese & veggies...but my parents who enjoyed my other halves said it was the best pastrami they've had in years! The place even had fresh smoothie options and milkshakes. Worth a visit :3
I am a BLT Sandwich lover, we’re talking thick cut bacon, home grown tomatoes, a good mayo , butter lettuce and (an avocado at times)… all toasted up on your favorite bread. Clermont cafe's Chef has mastered this , Layered perfectly and served lwith a smile . My go to when I'm out.Such a heart breaker! Ordered the best cuban in the area( take out, besides my meal) and left it at my brothers refrigerator. He laughed as he ate it.
Yesterday we stopped in a local cafe in downtown Clermont that has been there for awhile. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. There was one waitress and one cook but the service was very good and the food was excellent. It was a pleasure to get food that was actually hot. There was a steady stream of customers coming in for breakfast and things were running very smoothly. We want to go back for lunch and try that out.
Big portions. Good food. Great sandwiches. Nice ownership. Nothing bad to say about this place.
Great sandwiches, wraps, salads, and home made soup of the day. Sandwiches are generous in size, both times I've been there I've taken half home. Something for everyone, from veggie wraps to corned beef. Great blt's! Grilled cheese, hot dogs and cheese quesadillas for kids. Sweet little place!
We visited the Clermont Cafe because we had read a favorable article about it. When I mentioned this to the owner, only waitress, she was pretty haughty about it. She didn't seem the friendliest and the place was empty except for one other table and us. I liked the local art on all the walls and the owner bragged about selling pieces. Food was pretty good, nothing outstanding. The BLT was large but the drawback was that it had a HUGE piece of lettuce that the cook didn't think to cut up so it was a mess to eat! Also drinks were served without ice.
If you're looking for a hidden gem that serves an excellent breakfast and lunch, then look no farther than the Clermont Cafe, located at 824 W Montrose St. in beautiful downtown Clermont.Brandi and Marc are the absolute best, and Mr. Marc will have your taste buds begging for more of his tantalizing food!
Great place there sandwich and soups are amazing. Never had a bad experience. Amazing little gem
So good. I had a bagel with egg and cheese. And bacon. So good
Wonderful Cafe with lots of artwork on the walls for sale by local artists. We were taken care of quickly even though they were full. Found this place when we came in town to get some work done to our car, came highly recommended. We will return! ?
