I was very happy to see the hot sauce bar open. It had been shut down for a while due to covid. Our service was great. The environment was clean. Now lets talk about our meals... we got the nachos and the taco salad. The nachos were great (according to who I was with) and it's a very ample serving. The Salad: I was very happy that the salad did NOT come in a taco bowl which made it a safe choice for me as I am GF. They have greatly improved their fresh salsa, it was Very Good. My salad was fresh and very good...But...I would have like more lettuce. There was not much. That is why I gave 4 stars instead of five. Some folks might be VERY happy with less greens and more of the "good stuff" but I do like the greens...hence the choice of a salad. All and all a great experience and will plan to enjoy this restaurant in the future.
I ordered nachos to go and the menu specifically stated it came with queso AND melted cheese. It only had melted cheese, which was as hard as a rock by the time I got home. I called to ask why there wasn’t any queso on the nachos and said if I had known that, I would have ordered a side of queso. The guy on the phone said “oh yeah, our menus are wrong, we don’t put queso on the nachos anymore”. I asked that they please update their menus and he said “heard that, I’ll tell my GM”. Didn’t offer a coupon for queso, a free queso if I wanted to come back, literally nothing and acted like he didn’t give a s***, which fine, he probably didn’t, because it’s just queso, but when the menu specifically says it has it on there, then it should be on there, especially when it’s over $20 for two orders of nachos. Confused and disappointed by this experience.
Food is consistently good. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Dining area kept clean.

Great service and meal as usual. Tried the shrimp bowl and was really impressed with amount of shrimp and toppings. The hot sauce selections are always a challenge to see how hot we can go.
Nobody in the restaraunt. Took them 20 minutes to tell us our to go order was being made. Usually good service took a nosedive at this location.Update - after 30 minutes we finally got our order
Usually only dine or takeout on Tuesdays for special. But... take note. By saving a few dollars you do balance with extra long wait times and 50% of time order not exactly correct. Yea its true. Little things like adding topping you don't want or soft instead of hard shell. Its important to get a receipt and check it. When they're busy it could entered wrong.

For anyone who is curious about the new fajita shrimp quesadilla, it is not worth it in my opinion. This is what it looked like when I opened it. Yes there's a bite taken out of one of the pieces but I opened it after it didn't taste like much except for flour tortilla. The other picture is exactly what it looked like when I opened it, nothing removed. If there was any garlic lime sauce on it, I couldn't taste it or see it. Unfortunately the garlic lime is what sold me on trying it. It also seems to only have about a tablespoons worth of cheese on it. I should have known not to get it when I asked for it megajuana and they told me they didn't have enough shrimp to do that. They also assured me that there would be more than enough for a normal serving. Okay I guess about eight shrimp total is what you get on a normal serving which I think is a bit stingy but fine, it's shrimp. Could I at least have some cheese on a quesadilla? Even Taco Bell has more cheese than that on their cheapest quesadilla! Every quesadilla I've had from various restaurants usually oozes with cheese .. in fact my granddaughters kids meal chicken quesadilla had plenty of cheese on it. But to think that they charge $10.49 or something like that for this meal... outrageous! Maybe I was just unlucky enough to get a very poorly prepared one. But I doubt I would ever try it again. Or anything else from that place for that matter
The experience lately has been horrible, the order was supposed to be ready at 7:30 for curbside pick up. Waited in the car for 20 minutes no one came out when inside waited an additional 30 minutes just to get two chimichangas. We used to love this place but the last year or so has been horrible.. we would rather go to the Oldsmar location even though it’s out of the way. The girls inside were also very Unattentive and didn’t seem very interested in doing their job very disappointing. Not to mention there were two other cars in curbside that were waiting longer than we were, they also had to go inside for there orders. I usually never write reviews and have been putting off writing one for this location but this is just unacceptable.
