Lamb gyro was the worst I’ve ever had. Meat was all chewy I could barely eat. Chips included were all broken crushed pieces. Pasta salad looked and tasted exactly like the kind out of the box with feta.
My gyro was amazing. Fresh cut meat, much different than the usual from the shaved skewer meats. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the girl at the counter, Shea, and the cook Michael cooked it to perfection. I would have taken a picture to post with the review but it was so good that by the time I thought of it, my plate was empty. Will definitely visit here often.
Came here already couple times, they have great gyros, salad and amazing soups, will be back for sure...
Everything was very fresh tasting. I got the chicken kabobs which were my favorite part. The hummus and pita was also tasty.
Last time my wife and I ate from Tazikis was probably sometime mid-covid, and can't remember the experience but don't recall it being this bad..Today we ordered 2 items, my wife ordered the Greek Salad with Chicken Kebobs and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Kebob Feast. Here are the disappointing aspects of our orders:Greek Salad with Chicken Kebobs - The salad itself wasn't bad, what was bad was the portion of chicken. The portion was 2 kebobs, which, when weighted at home (with the foil and kebob sticks inside), weighted just 3.0 ounces. Honestly, for charging almost 4 dollars between the Traditional Greek Salad ($9.19) and this salad ($14.14), this is a ridiculous amount.Grilled Chicken Kebob Feast - Same thing for the chicken, it was about 3.1 ounces when weighted (with the foil and sticks), barely a significant amount of chicken considering this item costs $14.89. The rice came in what I would consider a 6-8 ounce foam container, however it was half full. Other Greek/Mediterranean restaurants provide a more generous amount. The salad part of the plate looked bigger than the chicken and rice put together. Not that the pictures are any sign of how the plate actually looks (as it is obvious they are staged for catching the eye), but honestly, the pictures do look closer to what we get at other restaurants, while the actual product we got from the restaurant falls behind what anyone would consider a "meal" considering the amount being paid for.Quite honestly, I can't think of a reason to return or give the restaurant another chance. I understand that due to the circumstances we are living at the current times things have changed, but it seems to me that the portions have gone significantly down while the pricing has gone up, while other restaurants just increased the prices but kept the food portions the same.
Ordered a lamb gyro, unless their lamb looks and tastes like steak we got a steak gyro. Our friends ordered a chicken kabob. And it wasn't a kabob either. Food was good but wasn't what we ordered.
Great food, even better service. The food was soLight and filling and didn’t feelLike I ate too much. Definitely wish they had one in Lakeland. Looking forward to coming back.
Omg what a shame concept is good but execution horrific. Sticky tables and dirty floors. All the food does is attract gnats which were a huge unhungry moment if that is even a word. Better off with Panera hands down…
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater is a great place to go for delicious and fresh Greek food. I really like their gyros and salads here that are flavorful and well prepared. This is a good stop when you are hungry and ready to eat. The staff here is very kind and provides excellent customer service.
