It was on Gulf to Bay. First time ever. Wanted something to go. Took chilli in a kind of a cup container. Paid over $10 to find out it was almost completely water. You could barely dig out a single grain of meat. They said it’s suppose to be like this. It was also bitter. Manager wouldn’t offer a solution to my upset, maybe replace it or refund. I just left and wouldn’t touch it after a teaspoon of trying.
Checked there web page 2 times stated they was open to 8:00 on 7/3, drove 25 minute drive to find out they was closed and closed at 3:00, please update on your website with the price of gas and a 50 minute round trip drive for nothing. ?
Skyline is a great place if you’re looking for some food you haven’t tried before. This is a Cincinnati franchise that has opened one location in clearwater. As a Cincinnati native, I can tell you that this is just as good as the stores in Cincinnati. You seat yourself when you arrive and you’ll love the smell when you walk in. I personally recommend the 3-way with habanero cheese and a couple cheese coneys to go with it. Their hot sauce is delicious and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see the food being made at the bar so you can watch the magic unfold.
We have stopped at Skyline Chili everytime we visit Tampa / Clearwater. Our vacation is not complete without a Chili dog and a 3 way. Wife enjoys the wraps and 3way potatoe. Clean location, fast service, and friendly staff!
The service is amazing the place feels very welcoming and smells so good. But the chili is barely present hidden by a mound of cheese and overpowered with a strange sweet tang. The fries were a generous portion but stale and hard. If they didn't add the weird secret ingredient I would be there often but I can't say I'll return.
This is the Skyline Chili in Clearwater Florida. Skylines Chilli has a different taste than typical texas style Chili and people either seem to love it or hate it.I happen to like their Chili with its sweet yet savory flavor. I ordered the two way Chili with cheese and crackers over spaghetti. And it didn't disappoint. We also had Chili dogs and Chili cheese fries as well as a Greek salad. The salad was very tasty. The guy who took our order was friendly and helpful.the prices were fair. The restaurant was very clean.Their was plenty of both seating and parking. If you are in Clearwater and looking for something different after eating seafood all week, you should give if a shot.
I like cheese but not a whole salad of cheese with very very little lettuce and missing items from my order... Don't ever go there and order takeout on there (trivia night) because your food will be completely messed up.
Love the Service and environment but the chili is blah and being this is what they’re known for they really need to step up their game… last time I tried it I felt the same but I thought I would give it another shot and nope 2nd time was still blah ??
Wanted to find a place in town to eat, and gave them a try. Got a sample bowl to start, then ordered a full meal: a 3-way, chili fries, and a deluxe chili burrito. Super friendly staff too. Really worth the trip, so don’t just drive by.
...the one where they bring your order and you say "no way am I eating all that" and then you do. Because how could you not love a pile of spaghetti topped with Smokey beef chili smothered with cheddar cheese? Ohio folks know how to eat well. No shame in that. Twenty minutes drive from downtown Cleveland and worth the trip.
