Amazing Hotel... incredible views!
Location was amazing. You can walk up from the beach and you are here, very convenient. There are seats directly on the water. Server was very friendly. Appetizers- calamari was a little chewy but had good flavor. The tuna with Avocado was absolutely delicious. Really enjoyed the tuna and will definitely order again! Main course- the Chimichurri was amazing. The grouper sandwich was good as well. Would be 5 star except for the calamari. 4.75 stars- round up to 5 stars. Will definitely be back again!
Blonde wavy haired female bartender……she was phenomenal., can’t remember her name. Truly exceptional service and this resort will greatly benefit from keeping staff like her around The drinks were spot on…..although it was almost always a Mai Thai going down Food was great Views were amazing Spent numerous times here both during the day and night. It was consistently great. All around great experience and I will be returning….the staff really set this place apart

Visited this location with friends and had a good time. Vegetarians will have no issue finding multiple choices on the menu. We did run into one issue where some common alcohol and beer choices from menu were not available.
This hidden gem is a must visit everytime you come to Clearwater Beach. This outdoor bar is called Sandbar and its entrance is tucked away from general public view at the very south end of Clearwater beach and sits up one story high on a cruise ship-like platform.It features hostess-attended open-air seating for dining and sunset viewing and is part of the hotel/resort for staying guests BUT is also open to the public.There's live music usually on Friday and weekend evenings. A pay-to-park mini lot is adjacent to the hotel for public parking and you can also access this bar by walking up from the beach barefooted to get your mid-afternoon cocktails at the Tiki bar. The piña coladas are fantastic and you'll probably want a second one to keep cool on the hottest days. It is most crowded during sunset viewing times so get here early for seats if you don't want to stand around the Tiki bar.
What a perfect location! We easily found parking and enjoyed drinks and dinner while listening to the waves crash on our last night of vacation. The sunset view would have been perfect had the clouds cooperated. I enjoyed my fish tacos and my husband said his grouper sandwich was great!
I ordered the Grouper basket but asked them to grill it instead of frying and it was absolutely amazing!
Had such a great time at Sandbar Clearwater Andrew is the best bartender he gave us great service in the coconut chicken was amazing and the sunsets were amazing. This is greatest place to come watch the sunset in Clearwater Beach
