Very dry reuben. Sent back. Philly cheese wrap was ok. Didn't detect onions or mushrooms. Disappointed.
I am new to the area and so happy I found this restaurant. In Miami there are tons of Delis...not so in Clearwater. This is my place for my comfort food. My mom recently hit a huge milestone birthday and ordered platters for her birthday luncheon. The food was amazing. The portions were huge and the presentation lovely. All the guests were raving about how delicious the food was. The delivery person was on time and professional. She set up all the platters for me. Definitely recommend.
I had the meatloaf hoagie and my husband had the cuban. Both were good. We both had the potato salad. Its really good! We went on a Saturday around brunch. Found this place by accident. We were trying to go to another place in the same shopping center but they kept pushing our reservation. We finally gave up and said lets try the little deli. So glad we did. They sat us right away. Yes, they were very busy but our server was so nice. We'll definitely be back.
Another excellent turkey reuben
Pickles Plus Deli has a delicious menu of items for both breakfast and lunch. We stopped in with friends for a late breakfast and had mostly egg-based dishes. My Western Omlette was good and the side of grits was excellent. We've been there for lunch previously, and I can say that their lunch selections are also excellent. You will enjoy your visit to Pickles Plus Deli!
Unfortunately, second strange time. Way over priced for a half sandwich with chips and drink. But both visits had a very strange vibe (if you will). Not friendly. A dinstinct feeling that the employees are very sad and out of touch with the customers....no eye contact at all, no efforts to greet and wlecome people and no sense of what the customer needs...sorry guys. Can't do that with my money.
Really enjoyed my first visit. Nice outside seating; prompt service. My fish sandwich had 3 large pieces of cod! Great service! Wish it was closer!
I stopped in on Friday for a late breakfast. I was greeted warmly on entering the restaurant. My server , I believe her name was Jenny, approached my table and slapped down some utensils and a big stack of napkins. My food came out in a reasonable times. Jenny served it to me by approaching me from behind and sliding the plates on the table. I couldn’t even see her faceThe scrambled eggs were warm in the center and cold around the edges. The rest of the food was ok, nothing notable.I didn’t get a chance to notify the server about the cold eggs because she never came back to check if things were satisfactoryWhen I left I informed the person to whom I paid the bill that the service was not good. She said “sorry.”The place seems busy but I’m not seeing the attraction. Small dining area. Two vacuum cleaners stationed in the hall.I certainly won’t be going there again.
Took my mentally challenged friend there for his birthday. No good morning, no smile, no personality from waitress. Waitress told another client she works 6 days a week. I suggest she take more time off because her attitude makes sure I will never come back. She dropped the check before we were even done eating and we wanted more food. She reached for my plate with her pen open and wrote on me as I tried to push back from her open pen but she had no idea. She threw someone else coffee and creamers in our food basket on the table then picked it up to take it. So Rude. Thanks for a horrible time.
One of my very favorite places to eat, I prefer Pickles Plus to Lucky Dill all day!! Beyond generous portions so make sure you come hungry!! Matzo ball soup is a must order here. Family owned since 1989 & second family owned location opened in 1998..The only downside is the location is in a very busy strip mall so getting in/out can be tricky
