I've lived here for several years now and never tried this place because it always seemed too busy which is usually a good thing. Stopped in on Mother's Day with a group of 14 it was everyone's first time. The menu looked delicious and the atmosphere seemed great. I do feel like this staff was under trained and set up for failure. My food was completely forgotten about and I had to wait until all other 13 members of my party we're done eating before I received my food. I asked for mine to go and when I got home I realized that my burger was actually missing things that I ordered on it. I'm not saying I will not go back I will give this one more try because the menu really looked good, but my first experience was definitely not five stars.
First time here. Wonderful staff, with very helpful service and information about the menus. More like a home cooked meal. Price was very easy on the pocket book.
A couple of Iowan's made good. Very pleasant lunch, wonderful service and atmosphere. We both had the Pork Tenderloin and fries. Will definitely visit again.
I’d give zero stars after the way I was treated if I could. I ordered from you guys yesterday and the loose meat Pete was decent. I turned around and did it again through DoorDash today. It was the worst experience! I spent thirty dollars for nothing! It was trash! I paid for cheese it had no cheese. I asked for no mustard it had mustard. I even called and offered to WALK, after paying a delivery fee mind you, from my hotel to bring you the trash and have you correct it!! Instead I was told I was trying to get over on you!!! Lol. Thanks. Here’s a picture of the tasteless meat and mustard you gave me! It’s much better with cheese you should alter your recipe a little?
The food is good, it’s more comfort food than fancy.Friday fish fries are very popular and one of my favorite meals.Other recommendations include: pork tenderloin sandwich, Pete and shorty burgers (sliders), tater tots, cheese curds, French dip, and grilled cheese sandwichThere is indoor and outdoor seating.If you are a female be sure to check out the painting in the ladies restroom.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Great place serving delicious comfort food. Had the grouper and I have to say it was some of the best I've ever had! Crispy battery, not great and, best of all you could taste the grouper! Wish I lived in the area so I could go there regularly!
Like the local restaurant atmosphere. Food was good wish they had a little more drink options on the happy hour menu. Sitting out side can be a little loud due to the traffic on the road but don’t let that stop you from having a good time. Their fish fry Fridays and pork tenderloin are delicious!
First time here. Food is pretty good, service was great. We both had the burger and it was cooked as asked and flavorful. Cheese curds were a bit small and pretty greasy. The tator tots were nothing special. It was the best 3.25 martini I have had in awhile. Tables were marginally clean. We had to move because the smoke from outside smokers was coming in through the door, but service was very good and food was also pretty good. We are from central Florida, we may be back.
Great service erica was very nice. Kept drinks refilled and very knowledgeable about the food. Pork tenderloin sandwich was good with fries.
A favorite of ours. Good food, friendly atmosphere, super porch area. No pretense, just a perfect tavern!
