We had such a fantastic meal at the Island Way Grill! We had a reservation at 6:45 and they were able to seat us 20 minutes early, and outside near the water as we requested. The food was SO delicious...easily the best scallops I've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly and plated beautifully (so much so that my daughter posted pictures of everything on social media.) Our whole experience was made exceptional by the wonderful service of our waitress, Gabrielle. She was thoughtful, attentive, funny, and proactive. It was our last day in Florida, and our anniversary, so I'm so thankful we were able to end it with such a wonderful experience!
Had an 8 o’clock reservation for two for outside arrived and they told us that our table ready in 15 minutes we went to the bar 38 minutes later our beeper went off I paid the bar bill on my wife went to the host to station five minutes later I went to the hostess station and they said oh we have no tables outside but you can eat at the bar yeah but we could’ve ate at the bar 40 minutes earlier we went out to the bar and there was approximately 10 to 15 open tables outside we eat at the bar we ordered two appetizers and a main course and all three came at the same time so by the time we go to the entrée bobby was yhe only bright spot as he brought the entree back to kitchen twice to reheat. I Would be hard-pressed to ever go back to this place and encourage other people that are looking at the preview to find another restaurant and not go here

Enjoyed a delicious anniversary dinner on the patio. The food was beautiful and prepared perfectly. Our server, Andrea, was outstanding! She was very attentive and made great recommendations. We will definitely be back!
We usually visit Salt Rock Grill but decided to give its sister restaurant Island Way Grill a try. Similar ambiance, but I think Island Way is better. For starters, they are better staffed and service is excellent. The food options are similar but I think it tastes better here. While the restaurant was full, for some reason it didn't seem to be so busy and hectic. We had two servers, Eric and Scott. It was Scott's first night but he seemed like a seasoned pro so I suspect it's not his first rodeo. Both Eric and Scott were excellent. The manager visited our table to check things out. She was very friendly and fun to talk to. Not intrusive at all. We had a great dinner and evening. I highly recommend Island Way Grill. If you visiting Clearwater Beach you also get the benefit on not having to contend with the hectic beach traffic to get there.
Was good service location was wonderfull , bad was they allowed pets on the deck and all the time we ate dogwas barking or under our table, all we got for dog owner was sorry , pets have a place and a place to eat is not one. I ordered meat loaf it was dry and I so do think it was day old as some parts were crust and could not eat. I would not go back .
What a great spot! We had dinner on the patio right next to the water. The service was excellent and good value for our food. We had the grilled octopus appetizer and some sashimi for dinner. Everything was excellent. Great spot for a nice date night!
Tyler at the outside bar was amazing! And the brunch here is always wonderful! The staff at the oyster bar was so amazing they even grilled some oysters at the raw bar for us! They were amazing and recommend them over the wood fired grill.
Went for an early dinner with family while on vacation. Feel I was expecting more… sat inside but ok with it because view wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. Food was ok. Staff was friendly and timely. Would say experience was just ok.
