American Legion Post 275 in Dunedin catered an event with Homestyle BBQ on July 10th. We ordered ribs, chicken, pulled pork, beans, mac and cheese, collard greens, banana pudding and peach cobbler. We heard no complaints from over 100+ people. Everything was outstanding and big on flavor. Ribs fall off the bone. You can't go wrong with Homestyle BBQ. Let them put some south in your mouth. You'll be glad you did.
Delicious and fall off the bone ribs, the rib portions were large. The sweet BBQ sauce was good, wasn't a fan of the tangy but it may appeal to some. The mac and cheese was delicious as well, unfortunately when we arrived they were out of some sides we wanted, but we did stop by around 2pm.
Ordered a full rack of pork ribs, and a pound of pulled pork.Maybe I was just unlucky, but my ribs were not melting in my mouth. Extremely dry, rather burnt, half of it was just not edible.Read previous comments, so maybe I just got a bad batch, but, that's it for me.Pulled pork was OK, done in their own way (sauce), not a fun either.Quality of meats seemed to be on the budget side, prices aligned with everything inflation world.Jim, won't be coming back to try your brisket...Good luck
What an incredible BBQ place. The first time we tried it was Mother's Day. I forgot 1/2 of my order. The owner stayed open until I came back and picked up the ribs.Everything was delicious. We ordered ribs, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and corn. Definitely the best BBQ in Tampa Bay. We like going to family-owned restaurants and will be back!
She is the BBQ queen! Delicious ribs and pulled pork is fantastic. You just walk up to her trailer, the smoker is right there, order and enjoy!
I have had BBQ all over the USA and Canada. I have been BBQing for over 50 years and Homestyle BBQ in Clearwater has the best ribs, chicken , and baked beans that I have ever tasted. Done to perfection with just the right amount of spice, and their sauces are amazing. My only complaint is that I live too far away to visit them every week. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are very reasonable. If you are in the Clearwater area do yourself a favour and go to Homestyle BBQ but order early because they sell out by noon, that alone should tell you how good the food is.
On an impulse we stopped at Homestyle BBQ for carry out. I had passed by this place many times, and today we were very hungry so stopped. We ordered the combo meal with chicken, ribs, and pulled pork with two sides, and it was delicious and a good value for the price. The lady who took our order and the lady who I believe is the cook were both super friendly. Highly recommended!

Read a review of this and had to try it myself. Have to say some of the best ribs I've had in a very long while. Half slab beans and corn on the cob. Ribs they don't sauce you add it but have to say really they don't even need sauce. Fall off the bone good! Beans were just right cross between sweet and tangy. It's a very small place outside pickup and 1 table that I saw. So if you want to grab and go it's great! Very good service the lady's were very nice and quick! I will definitely be back
