Outstanding food and service as always. The food is both perfectly and expertly prepared. Reliably consistent and fairly priced. A comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for any occasion, a relaxing afterwork happy hour, pleasant early bird dinner, divine anniversary dinner, or birthday dinner, for couples, families or just a solo meal that will satisfy cravings.
Order curbside takeout. Took 15 min longer than when it said it would be ready. Questionable ahi tuna that was rubbery. My side salad was lettuce from a bag and 2 cherry tomatoes. My teeny tiny baked potato that was over cooked and shriveled made this restaurant one we will never revisit. Steak was over cooked as well. 0/10 do not recommend! Not sure why they have a 4 star rating.
Most tasteless steak I’ve had in a long time. Not to mention I got the smallest baked potato they could find. Wait staff was okay considering they are short staffed. Honestly, I know better chain steak restaurants that would blow this place out of the water. I came to Harold Seltzer because of a recommendation, but my refined taste buds did not enjoy the meal that was served.
We didn’t have a reservation and were a bit casualty dressed but the staff assured me we were fine. We also didn’t wait long at all for a Friday night. The staff was very friendly and our server Autumn was extremely attentive. The homemade bread and croutons were so delicious! I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly! I ordered brussel sprouts which were equally delicious and plentiful. My husband had the New York strip steak and creamed spinach. He was in heaven! The vegetable choices were outstanding. We didn’t have room for dessert but plan to return next year and will save room for dessert! I would recommend this restaurant.
Visiting Clearwater and visited Harold Seltzers for dinner. Was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. Quick service for drink order, water and long Island tea, which was delicious. Hot rolls and croutons was yummy. Medium rare sirloin, mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes and creamy spinach was cooked to perfection. Very tender and tasty steak! Ordered cheesecake with strawberry sauce for later. Look forward to my next visit.
The food was delicious and the portions are incredible. The appetizer Brie is big enough to feed 2 people.Nahiomy was one of the best servers I've ever had, really friendly and fun.
More of a family setting type steak house but with high end quality and service.Dani was our server and she was fun, attentive and knowledgeable. Great overall service.Food was fantastic. Great portion size, great taste and quality. Drinks were strong and dessert was amazing (get the Napoleon)We were in town for work, but will definitely be going back next time we are around.
With a mixture of poor food quality and service attitude, 2 stars is the maximum I can honestly give to this restaurant. The staff were not actually rude or anything other than polite but there was no effort whatsoever. Everything seemed too much trouble. The food was somehow dry and greasy and the homemade fries was a pile of those bits left in the pan when the real fries are removed. Not my worst dining experience but not somewhere I would recommend or visit again.
Avoid this restaurant if you don’t have a reservation . Terrible management . We called and were told we could not be put on a wait list till we got there . Were never told they were sold out . When we got there we were told 25 minutes but wouldn’t take that long . What a crock of BS. People kept getting seated ahead of us . The hostesses should be replaced fired or trained better . Walked out . Went to outback and had no wait great service and great food .
Thank You Harold for asking us to give you another visit. Our experience this time was exceptional. Our Prime Rib was tender and seasoned to perfection. We tried the Wild Onion Rose and enjoyed that too. The Napoleon Dessert we took home so we could truly enjoy it. We will be back again soon. Sharon Beischer
