We had SUPER great service and the food was excellent!!!
great place, great food great staff. definite stop anytime I'm in the Clearwater area.
Food was quite good. Lots of selection and delicious desserts. Short walk from our hotel. We had pizza and another evening some Italian specialties. Good service.
Great service very friendly, food was over the top delicious. Prices and portions are on point. We definitely want to come back again! Thank you guys for the wonderful experience for our family
We were disappointed to learn one of our fav Clearwater spots had closed (post corner pizza). Deciding to try gondoliers was a great decision! We visited twice on our recent trip to Clearwater beach. We tried pizza, wings, greek salad and pasta. Their veggie pizza was delicious and their marinara is amazing! Their draft beers were reasonably priced and their was complimentary breadsticks with marinara. Our server both times was “spieros” he was attentive and funny.
By far the absolute worst pizza I’ve ever taken a bit of, because that’s all I could tolerate. I was under the impression that it would come with cheese and pepperoni on it, considering that’s what I ordered on it. The dough was wet, and hard at the same time. The little cheese on it was burned, and thank you for the two pepperoni’s. One bite and straight to the trash. Pizza is a pretty simple dish to make. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere but here… 0/10!
We have been vacationing on Clearwater Beach for 48 years. the Gondoller is a must for dinner. Food, service and price are all acceptable
We were staying in the Clearwater Sheraton and weren't in the mood to go out so we got carryout from here. It's an easy drive over the bridge and parking was easy too. We got a medium kalamatiano white pizza (a house specialty), the Gondolier stromboli, and shrimp linguine with a side Caesar salad. It came with a couple of bread sticks that were fried like donuts. tl;dr it was all good. The pizza was cute and a good size for one person if that's all you got. Not exactly deep dish but definitely cooked in a dish. Not New York style, if that's something you care about. The crust is light and airy but substantial enough to hold things together. The mix of toppings on the kalamatiano really capture the Italian-Greek fusion this place is going for and I would get this one again in a heartbeat. My partner (who grew up in PA and went to Penn State) said it was "like a good PA pizza."The greens in the salad were super fresh and crispy. The croutons and dressing were fine, basically average. Not a bad salad, but nothing to write home about, either. The stromboli was great. I went for their house special. (If I don't know too much about a place I tend to go for the dishes the put their name on.) I'm not a stromboli connoisseur, but it was chock full of toppings, crispy on the outside and didn't fall apart on you. Very much looking forward to the leftovers on this one tomorrow. The pasta was good. The shrimp were cooked just right--plump with a crisp bite to them. The noodles were al dente, and the sauce was not too oily or over powering. Lots of mushrooms and the capers added the right something.I would definitely recommend this place. The food was ready quickly. If anything, I ordered too much for just two people, but I was happy to have leftovers for tomorrow.
Absolutely loved this place I ate here twice in one day. It was a really good place and prices were reasonable. I really did enjoy the pizza and breakfast. I would definitely come back...
Such a great little spot! We had bruschetta, pizza, a salad and our daughter got a kids pizza. She normally a fairly picky eater and ate 5 of the 6 pieces of her pizza and kept saying it was so delicious! The service was great- all the staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there. We will definitely be back! Anytime we are in the area!
