Destroys the atmosphere. Forced 19% gratuity, weak and small drinks, their fries were worth it and staff is friendly, just hard to catch someone poolside. Wyndham needs to rethink this.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! Super fast and the employees were extremely friendly! I highly recommended you try this restaurant. Nate is a very nice employee

They advertise “pool side” but your not aloud to go in the pool. Horrible experience.
We loved the room with a king size bed and bunk beds. It was great for our family and the kids didn’t have to sleep in an uncomfortable pull out couch. The view was incredible looking out over the bay and gulf. The convenience of the beach being directly across the street was amazing for our family.
This place is GREAT! The property is beautiful and right on the beach. It is located right in the middle of the action! We were within walking distance of all the good restaurants and shopping. It was our first time here but I noticed many "returning" families. The rooms are a bit small and can use some updating but it was still comfortable and lovely. The pool is pretty small and it closes early which was disappointing. The beach section in front of the hotel was beautifully manicured and chairs with umbrellas were available on the beach at no charge if you are staying at the Wyndham ($35 if not). Beware: there are many extra fees and you may be shocked to see your balance at the end of your stay. Resort fees, valet parking fees, automatic service and gratuity fees if you eat at the restaurant, and others. The concierge was a bit annoying because he kept trying to get us to attend a time share presentation (he asked my husband and I collectively 4 times). It was to the point that if we had a question, we would avoid him and ask the front desk. Also, beware of the "free breakfast". It is not free.
My room was directly across the street from a construction site. I asked about moving my room and was rolled no matter where I moved, I would still hear the noise. I feel I should have received at the very least a small discount for the inconvenience of being woken up at 8am every morning. Also my rental car received damage from the valet parking and I was told the damage was already there--which it wasn't. The facility is very nice but my experience with the service/staff was not a good one.
Do not recommend intracoastal rooms. Pretty views but a lot of street noise of loud cars and sirens.Noise from construction was banging everyday from7-5 non stop so don't plan on sleeping late. Little black fly's in room and shower area. Pool was jammed and if toy didn't put a towel to reserve a seat first thing it was extremely hard to get one.
great trip, Had great view, Asian fusion restaurant is excellent. Nathan is excellent at the pool. Do go during red-tide. Near many locations. Can't beat the view. Parking should be included for at least one car/ room.
The drinks were yum and the food was delicious.It also had fast service.
