Breakfast was pretty good. This place has a lot of potential but is mostly frequented at night for live music and drinks. The kitchen is open late.Disadvantage is being so far north than most other event locations, but if you are nearby give it a visit.
beat time ever thanks glenn we missed you for a year but came back to so colt 45
This is a nice hidden gem that has excellent BBQ. It has a neighborhood vibe that is casual and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.
Best night ever - brought the whole bar together
Maybe best reason for high points was the authentic and great atmosphere. Very chill and relaxing. Don’t know if there is karaoke every night, maybe some like it, some not but it was part of the deal when we had dinner. A bit noisy but at the same time fun. Great service, relaxed, food was great, especially the crab soup and they had great draft beer that night. Close to the hotels, shops and beach. One thing is sure, if we visit Clearwater beach again from Norther Europe, we will visit you again.
live music, friendly service and good food.
Great fun bar for locals and tourists alike!
A block from our hotel we found the Beachfire Beach Bar & Grille with a Maryland flag in the window and a Baltimore Oriole flag in the door and we walked in to see Baltimore Raven banners, signs and more all over the place. It turns out the owner is from my hometown, went to my high school, 7 years behind me and opened the place 14 years ago. It is located on the quieter north end of Clearwater Beach, a block past the Palm Pavilion Inn where we were staying. It is a very causal, comfortable place with a little bit for everybody serving lunch thru late night and breakfast on the weekends and we ended up making 3 trips there during the week. Our 1st trip caught part of their happy hour and some decent shrimp tacos, crab soup, chicken wings and $2.79 Naked Lagers. That night they had a mix on the 7 TV's of Tampa baseball, 80's music videos and college football. Later in the evening a musician showed up to play for the evening. One morning we headed for breakfast and had the breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, toast and I had the French toast and sausage. Beachfire has a surprising large menu with some unique offerings. Our 3rd visit was for the Ravens Monday night football game and there was a solid crowd with all the TV's on the Ravens except for 1 on the Tampa Bay playoff game. The peel and eat shrimp were good as well as the Naked Lagers, a beer that reminds me of Landshark, On all 3 visits the staff was excellent, friendly, hustling and all showing a nice sense of humor. Certainly looking to revisit the next time we are in town.
Had a great time, the atmosphere was relaxed yet full of life and good vibes. The DJ was Entertaining and very engaging with everyone. The bartenders very good at what they do, all very pleasant to deal with, never rude, or unprofessional. The people are there for one thing to sing and drink. Nothing more nothing less, so be there to have a good time.
It's really hard to find a good breakfast on Clearwater beach. One that's not overcrowded or overpriced. Found this by accident, as it looks more like a bar. Had a wonderful breakfast for large family group. They were very attentive.
