This is not a hotel it is a motel. It smelled bad, we had to kill roaches, and the room is very overpriced. The only good thing was it did have a nice mattress to sleep. The breakfast in the morning was nasty and the yogurt was spoiled. I do not recommend this motel.
What I thought was a hotel was in fact a cheap motel. It is over priced, the room smelled bad, we killed roaches YUCK, but the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was awful, the yogurt was even sour. I would not recommend this motel
What a terrible hotel, avoid at all costs. Booked room for 5 & only room for 4 to sleep. Asked for an extra bed but advised could not put another bed in the room!! Filthy rooms, broken curtains, blocked toilet, poor breakfast. Utterly dreadful
This hotel is a dump. The rooms look like something out of a movie about cheap prostitutes and their johns--old smelly carpets, broken furniture, door safety latch that was actually missing, bathroom fan like a Harley Davidson. There are so many better places to stay in Clearwater, and we wish we had. The last straw was that we were told to bring our dirty sheets and towels to the check-in counter because there wasn't any housekeeping service.
This property should be ashamed of itself for the absolutely poor condition that rooms were given were in. There were burns in the carpet, missing woodwork and overall smell in both rooms. We had to change our first room as there was too much noise from the highway. The second room at a $9 premium by the pool had one door that did not open and other than two large screen tvs and well worn couches offered nothing but sleeping accommodations. I realize that it is hard in these times to keep up with repairs and looks but this was clearly a poor place to stay. I only stayed because a friend purportedly stayed here but it must have been another clarion in Clearwater . Not a good choice at all
We were shocked to walk in and feel like we stepped back 2 years. The rooms were clean but small. The pool area looked nice - but the weather did not cooperate during our stay. They appeared to still be afraid of covid so did not offer housekeeping - which was not a big deal - but the game room was open, I heard the lounge was open at night, however no breakfast - they brown bagged you a diabetic nightmare - a honey bun, a bear claw, a granola bar and a water. you could take your dirty laundry and dump it on the desk - where there seemed to be dirty laundry throughout the day - yea, that was appealing. It was not worth what we paid for it - they either are short staffed or learned it was cheaper to run it this way - I would not stay here again.
I’m a GM for a choice hotel in tifton ga and let me just say this was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The check inn experience by the young man that worked the 3-11 shift was awesome. We booked king rooms and then when we got there we wanted an upgrade. He was so professional about the whole thing. Then after check in we went down to the bar and grill and Ms. Debbie was super sweet and amazing. The cook was awesome. He cooked the food just like we asked of him. The rooms oh my, they were awesome. Clean and fresh. Beds were super soft. Then at check out the front desk Mgr was so professional, helpful and sweet. We are planning a trip down with family and this most definitely will be where we stay. Thank you so much to this establishment and staff. 10/10

Two day stay without room cleaning or new soap or towels. Was told it was to lower contact with staff. A joke, we had to go to the laundry room to drop off used towels and pick up dry ones. No breakfast but a paper bag with a bottle of water, wrapped muffin and energy bat. I asked why and was tol it was Covid. Asked about the pay restaurant and was told it opened at 5pm. What a joke! My mistake was to make two reservations. I should have made two single days and would had rooms cleaned and trash picked up. Very noisy, AC and rooms on both sides and above. Same with flushing.
Never stayed in any hotel this bad in my entire life. Instead of accommodating us with another room management called the cops and had us removed from the hotel. I showed the manager photos and videos of bed bugs and the bites on me and my wife and he still refused to rectify the situation. The manager told me that the mattress in the video which showed the bed bugs crawling was not one of their mattresses. It is clear by some of the other reviews that this is a problem that they are completely aware of but refuse to do anything about it. This hotel needs to be condemned and removed from the choice brand.
