DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I ordered sushi and made it very clear... "NO dairy". One of my rolls came covered in mayo. I pointed it out to the waiter who did offer to replace it, but not wanting to waste food, I scraped most of the mayo off and suggested he just discount the roll. The bill came with no discount so I pointed this out to the Hostess/Owner. She proceeded to have a negative and confrontational attitude. I wasn't even able to finish my explanation (in an even and nice tone, being a business owner myself) when another customer, sitting in the next booth decided to start berating (loudly) me. My son and I decided, not only to never return but also to promptly leave this toxic, negative establishment.
What a cozy place with great food. Today I did take away, but I have eaten in and it's great. Service is good, very attentive without being sticky. Food is delicious and a great selection to choose from in various degrees of heat to your liking. Try the hot Jasmin tea it's delicious and good for the pallet. You also have a great selection of sushi should you care for some. Great place to eat while having a good conversation without blaring music in the background. Open for lunch and dinner. Do try it
This was a couple days ago so I don't remember the exact names of the dishes but there were two different chicken dishes one with chicken, green beans and red bell peppers & rice. The food was good, the portions were reasonable. Most of the entrees on the menu were under $20. Consistency is required for five stars but I will be back to see if they are worthy.
This place was very very good in the past for Thai food. Only nice experience I had today was nostalgically looking at the same great decorations as back in the day. Drunken Noodles was quite disappointing: too sweet, slightly undercooked noodles, only 4 small-medium shrimp, bunch of old basil leaves, very few veggies other than onion. Not worth the $12-$13. Free soup was bad (plastic taste), free spring roll was little undercooked (would have been great). Also, kind of shocked they couldn’t make my food spicy at all and couldn’t give me a Thai Chile on the side to help, very unauthentic. At a glance the sushi looked better than their Thai food, seems like that might be where their efforts go these days. Thai Spice across the street is much tastier, cheaper, more authentic and their staff is notably happier too.
Excellent pork pad thai, hot, today. Just the right amount of heat. As usual, the veggie spring rolls were simple but excellent. Great flavor and loaded.
The food was delicious, good service and atmosphere. Not a ton of selection of unique Thai dishes but all the traditional ones. My daughter enjoyed the sushi.
Went there with my Thai family and Thai friends. We were disappointed with the menu so I asked the girl with tinted red hair if she speaks Thai. I was hoping that the cook could whip up authentic dishes like most other Thai restaurants in the area will do.She replied with "no".I then asked her, besides English what do you speak? Thinking that maybe she speaks one of the other languages my family can speak. She said only English and that was said with an attitude. There was not one person in that Thai restaurant, that could speak Thai. Of course we left.I quickly used Google and was lucky to find a lovely place very close by where they do speak Thai and the food is more authentic.I use to like Ban Thai, but not so much now.I don't know what is happening to that restaurant, but whatever it is, isn't good.I won't be returning, not even for take-out.
Just excellent veggie spring rolls.
I asked for medium spice and I received extra thai hot, I threw my food away and I will never go back again. I have been a customer for 7 years and this is the second time the cook did this. You should know what medium spice is. I have always loved the food but this time it was unedible.
Appetizers were unique and delicious. Wait staff was prompt and friendly. My first try at Thai food and its not my thing. My girlfriend loved it so am an stumped why it was not busier Sunday at lunchtime.
