We stopped at Metro for lunch. The place is always clean which is so important. I really enjoy their soup which this time was a seafood chowder - very tasty and full of flavor. My wife had their chicken tenders which are quite good - crunchy and came out hot from the kitchen. I had the Philly steak sandwich - love the caramelized onions. Service was good - Shanita did have a hard time getting back to our table with the check but otherwise she was ok.
Our first time there. It was recommended by my neighbor. Treated grands to lunch. We loved it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The serving portions were more than enough that we needed to go boxes. Very affordable. We will be back!!!
Pancakes were good That’s really about it. Home fries were over cooked potatoes with no kind of flavor or love. Omelette was small and just wasn’t cooked right. Will not be back
Have been here about a dozen times in the last 6 months and have tried just about everything on their lunch menu. I like that they serve breakfast all day, I just haven't tried it yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed all their food. The meatloaf, shepherds pie and hamburgers are great. The fried chicken/chicken sandwiches are fabulous! The fish and chips are delicious and a very generous portion! Service is always fast and friendly. It's great to have a sit down diner close to my work that can get me in and out in less than an hour! I will definitely be back.
Our experience there was awesome! The waitress was super friendly and patient and made us feel like family. The food was excellent. It came out quickly and everything was great. We had traditional breakfast food and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The staff there was helpful to us because my Dad had trouble walking with a bad hip. They made sure we were comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely love this place for breakfast. Shannon is THE BEST server. We ask for her by name, and only want her. We recently came in before she started so we sat in our car until she got there! Two thumbs up for this restaurant and especially for Shannon.
Good eats and good service. The waitress frequently visited our table for refills and checking on us. I had the Southwestern Bowl. I did add a little hot sauce to it (so it wasn't very spicy to begin with). Biscuits were good too. They have a nice variety of options.More menu options for omelets/bowls would be nice.
This was our first time visiting a metro diner. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our server Eddie came right to us and was very friendly and attentive. He answered all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Scott the manager also came to our table and checked to see how our experience was and found out he personally cooked my eggs. Which were done perfectly. All in all an amazing experience and food was amazing. I highly suggest this location. Come see Eddie on Tues and Wed mornings. You won't be disappointed.
