Staff that works here is terrible. These kids they hire are incompetent and have terrible attitudes. We had 1 person ahead of us and no one inside and it took 25 min to get our food. 15 minutes of that was sitting at the drive thru speaker. We pulled up and we did not greeted. After a minute or two we asked if someone was there and they answered and said to “please wait” in a rude voice. 10 minutes go by and we’re still waiting and we have to ask again. They finally answered and took our order. Did not ask us what sides we wanted, just assumed we want those nasty salt chips. Food was made ok, but they need to start hiring people with customer service experience, not some young kids that have attitude and moral issues. This place is terrible
Tropical Smoothie is my favorite. This particular establishment is only may be a year old. Very nice place and a great location but horrible customer service. My father and I walked in and two girls looked at us but not one said anything to us. Two minutes later somebody else walked in and walked straight to the register and he asked if we were waiting and I said yes and then one of the girls said I’ll be right with you. The smoothies were brought out to us and the kiwi quencher was definitely missing something as it was extremely tart. When our food was up the kid sat at the counter yelling out what was in the bag instead of bringing it out or asking somebody’s name as the others cafes do. The quesadilla was good but the chicken caprice is definitely better at the Fort Myers location.
I liked the smoothie. But there was a promotion for an upgrade that I was not offered but rather had to pay full price
This store used to be my favorite but definitely not anymore. I placed an order for pickup and arrived when the app said my order was ready. No customers at the registers were being acknowledged. Plenty of staff working but they were just walking by or staying in the BOH. Was truly a disappointing experience.
Delicious as always!! The manager Carlos is amazing as well. I had an issue with my order and he fixed it right away !!!
A Tropical Smoothie makes the same smoothies no matter where you go, so those will always be delicious. The difference is the customer service. The Cape Coral location is unfortunately lacking a friendly, positive atmosphere. The people working there seem to be a bit ....fed up, overworked, undervalued??I did not see or notice any customers treating any employee badly when inside the place, but it seemed the cashier was ready to pounce on anyone asking a question like she's been trained to be defensive, condescending, and fake instead of being truly happy, sincere, and a listener.I understand they have their busier times. What I don't understand is a bad attitude or acting like my time is worth less than those who are working there.I value people who work in the food industry, I tip them extra, I know it can be overwhelming. When I'm told "well, we're really busy" as an excuse for lack of customer service, it is a red flag that their training is only surface level. It seems their management hasn't instilled a positive, friendly atmosphere where employees don't look shell-shocked to work in a place where customers aren't the enemy.
I'm reluctant to write this review but I feel it is my obligation to share my experience. I frequent the Tropical Smoothie in Fort Myers as it is near my work place and it's wonderful. So I decided to treat my kids (Teenagers) and we went to the closest one where we live. The one on Santa Barbara. The store itself is beautiful and the location is excellent however the customer service is non existent. No customer was being acknowledged while we were there. Every second order was wrong while we were there. Even our order was wrong. And even though 4 to 5 employees worked there , the place was dead and the employees had attitudes. No smile! Actually really sad as it could be a great place.P.S. the cheese quesadilla was pathetic- paperthin quesadilla and a tiny slice of cheese for $6.20
Honestly the worst place I have ever been to in this world. So me and my brother and my mom walked in there and we waited 5 mins before we got asked what we wanted. So my mom went first and ordered. And then I ordered my dinner and then my brother ordered his dinner last. So we sat down at the table and here goes 10 mins before we got our drinks and then 15 more mins came our dinner. So we were eating. Then this calm lady walked in with her food because she wanted a refund because they messed up her order. And then the lady said I would like to see the manager. And then the lady behind the counter said,” you are not gonna see the manager”. She said excuse me. So she asked for a refund. And the lady said ok put your card in. So she put her card in and then left the bag on the counter because it wasn’t her food . So the lady behind the counter said throw it away while Rolling her eyes. The lady that came was so nice . The lady behind the counter said “thank god she left”. That is rude costumer service. And you shouldn’t talk to people like that after they leave. Especially when you still have customers inside the store.
I like when they switch up the seasonal smoothie. Yummm. My favorite smoothie is the blueberry bliss but also parsdise point and sunrise sunset.Lately I've also tired the southwest quesadilla, the salsa that comes with it is super spicy. My partner loves it, but it's too much for me.Then today I had the southwest breakfast wrap. The Chipotle mayo had a slight kick to it but as someone who doesn't like spicy, it was just the right amount of spice and flavor.
I pulled in to the drive thru and there was no cars parked or in the drive thru I get there and the girl says “how can I help you.” As I began to order she never replied back as I kept waiting in line. I kept saying “hello” and about 5 minutes in still no answer … so I kept on saying “hello” but nobody seemed to answer me.. so I waisted 10 minutes Waiting until she goes ahead and says “can I help you” and I just drove off. They had no cars and it was dead inside. I pull up to the window and I see her and the guy in the back sitting on their phones. Like thes are lazy people who give a good place a bad name. Never going back.
