We've been to countless hibachi grills across the US. This is by far thee best that we have been too. the Cape Coral Roll was amazing. Rice, noodles, steak, veggies.... amazing. Waitress and chef, amazing! Our bill was $60 less than what we expected it to be for our family of 5! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be back!
The restaurant is clean, the service is impeccable, the sushi is fresh and great. I ordered the signature dish of sushi and sashimi. The presentation was on point and colorful. The gentleman running the place obviously cares about the customer. Friendly and affordable, you don't experience customer service like this anywhere else, in my humble opinion. Sakura is highly recommended.
This is our new sushi spot! We haven't tried the Hibachi yet, but we watched from afar and the cooks are very talented! The small waitstaff team is on point and super friendly. Highly recommend ??
We got in Winter Haven, FL around 7 ish pm and Sakura Japanese steak house was the one with less waiting time for dinner. The outside of the entrance was nothing special but I though it could be hole on the wall resto but it wasn’t! I had tom yum soup that was not taste like tom yum so better stay clear from ordering this soup. The ginger lemon dressing on the salad was to lemony and watery and made the salad too wet. Maybe if someone order the salad just ask to go light on the dressing. The miso soup is pretty general in taste. The sesame chicken was okay, it tasted like something shelly on the batter. The volcano roll was meh…it said spicy on the menu that was one of the reason I ordered that roll but not spicy whatsoever and just mediocre sushi tempura. The salmon lover and sushi sashimi combo were good and my daughter and husband really enjoyed the taste and portion. We are on vacation so we wont be back to this place again.
The staff was fun and the food was delicious. We did the hibachi experience, it was the best compared to the others.
This was the second place we went after seeing a "sold out" sign at a previous resturaunt..We walk in .. we are seated and we sat there for awhile and nobody ever came to the table to get our drink order. So.. we get up and proceed to walk out... as we do a waitress says.. "Is everything ok?" I told her no we have been waiting for awhile and nobody even took a drink order.. no response. I guess we need to stop going out to eat. Ugh
The food here is good, also if you are nice to the staff they are super fun and friendly. In my opinion Hibachi is fun as a group but you could definitely go alone too. We were there Sunday night
We love Sakura. The servers are always so polite and attentive. The sushi is fresh and hibachi flavorful. We love how they decorate for every holiday. It's one of our to TOP 5 favorite places to eat!!!!!
Good food all the time but the service can be really slow depending on what server you get. Jennifer is the best and also comes with a great personality. It's a must try!!!
I don’t write Many reviews but this is about food safety. After arriving at Sakura everything was ok food was being prepared and my guest and I were both served a glass of water that contained some cleaning agent from the soda gun which instantly left a burning sensation in my throat; after notifying the waitress, she informed me it was probably bad lemonade. In which the manager stated the same it was old spoiled lemonade. Regardless after getting instantly ill the manager offered a 6.00 discount with zero food eaten. While a problem can occur anywhere and it was unintentional the manager should be fired for her actions as she had total disregard for the health and safety of her guests . I will be contacting the health department. I definitely would avoid this place basic food safety measurements are not being followed.
