The prices have increased which we understand but the large sides were only 1/2 filled & the chicken pieces were so small, even the biscuits are smaller. I guess we were shocked that it was at least open & staffed. We went through the drive thru, our meal was ready quickly.
Girl who finally acknowledged me at the drive thru ( on a Friday around 1230) said she would be right with me . About 5 mins later several other cars pulled in behind me. The car behind me asked me if anyone helped me yet. So I told her no I was told she'd be right with me it's been over 5 mins. Upon saying this the girl comes back on the speaker very rudely stating that anyone who comes inside gets helped 1st and if I wanted to be helped anytime soon I needed to go inside.. if she was the only one inside doing drive thru and front counter by herself all she had to do was state this and not be so rude. It is not my fault that they where understaffed I wasn't even talking to her but answering the question to the 10 cars behind me. If she cannot handle stress and dealing with the public properly and professionally maybe she should consider a career change and not attack the customers. I ended up leaving and going to q different location where we where taken care of in 5 mins instead over 10 mins waiting to be treated poorly.
In the past this location has been so shockingly bad that I've stopped going here and written a complaint email, which I have never done before. With that said, I heard that the service has improved and that they have new managers. Everytime I've come here since then, the service has been fantastic! 10/10 props to all the new managers!
This Place is terrible, and the manager screwed up.my order twice. Over charged me twice for less food when I drove off. He confirmed 3 times, and still less items, so.tired of that place, I will NEVER go there again. Rather travel a far for better service. That manager slammed the window in my face too.. today 6/28 @ 6:00 pm. Very dissatisfied. Hate that place.
Showed up at 10pm the place closes at 11pm and they are out of chicken sandwich, spicy chicken asked them what they do have and all I got out was chicken tenders. I drove across town to this restaurant for a restaurant that specializes in chicken and barely have any. What’s the point in staying open until 11pm. looked more like they didn’t want to take the time to cook everything.
Food and service was so bad we went across the street to kfc. Almost 2 hours before they closed and they refused to make any food just said they were out of almost everything. Nothing was fresh. Went to kfc and had to wait a little bit but all our food was made fresh.
Hands down the worse Popeyes in lee county! On 03/30/2022 at around 9:10 pm there was a manger working the window, and she was turning everyone away saying she was out of this and that product. But when we where at the window she told me that she didn’t prep enough shrimp or chicken because it was a good before closing and if she doesn’t sell it then she has to throw it away! Which is understandable but at the same time the 10 piece chicken I ordered was the driest chicken I’ve ever seen! It had to have sat for hours because the chicken had heat Lamp burns on the chicken. So to make a long story short your not getting anything fresh here late at night! While I was setting in the drive thru at least 5 cars pulled off because this manager was turning people away on behalf her trying to close the restaurant early! And this lady was a manager! This place needs help bad
Not impressed. 2 people ahead of me in the drive thru pulled away as it was taking too long. Chicken tenders were okay and my mashed potatoes and gravy was mistakenly an order of Mac and cheese. Sorry I fed the garbage with your food
I signed up on Popeyes website so I could get a discount and make it quicker for me. To say the least it was a horrible experience is to be speaking mildly. On my arrival at the drive-through there was no record of me sending my order via my iPad. I did not get the discount but they gave me a senior citizen discount. You have to be 55 and older. I also ordered their fish sandwich. I order a 10 piece spicy mix chicken plus red beans and rice and coleslaw. These were to be large. I tried the fish sandwich it tasted just like a McDonald’s Mc fish sandwich except it was only larger. Really not worth the money. Upon looking at the fried chicken (as you can see in the photograph) the wings stillhad feathers stubble and the chicken was cooked in old grease. The sides were large..My red beans and rice was only filled with 1/4 or 25% of actually red beans. The other was just filler of plain white ? rice.. My coleslaw was just barely over half of the container. And when I tasted it it was on the warm side… I have been at this restaurant on previous occasions and this has been the worst experience I have ever had at this Popeyes on Hancock in Cape Coral Florida.
Loud Spanish music inside the kitchen, could barely hear the staff and vice-versa. Took forever to order by cause the manager spent a lot of time gossiping around with others staff members instead of triyng to organize the orders. Chicken tasted old, obviously because nobody cared about how long the chicken was sitting in the shelf. I truly believe in young people working and learning, but there was zero leadership.
