Bad smell...enuf to make me cough. Seats are old and cracked. Table chipped. Menu had old food on all the pages. Margaritas had a smokey taste. $ 13.50 for large. No tequila taste.Frozen machine broke. Rice and beans cold. Outside decoration ( christmas) were all over the ground. Left hungry. Was there last year and it was good . Will not be back,. Ended up getting a drink at Applebee's. Yum
from the moment we walked in the door we knew it would be good. after looking for good Mexican we found it. the food was awesome, the service the best. good music. definately a home run. thank you Mexico Lindo for a good dining experience
Rode by often and 1 day we decided to try it. It was no mistake. The dishes we've tried have all been tasty. Their Mexico Lindo Burrito is a meal for two and I take one 1/2 home for lunch the next day. Appetizer to go for is the 6 dip Bowl with a combination of re-fried beans ground beef, cheese, jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole, cheeses and enough to share.
We started with great chips and salsa and guacamole, then sizzling veggie fajitas, veggie chimichanga, and beef tamales - all generous portions so the four of us had plenty to take home as well. We also had excellent Pina Coladas, Cadillac Margarita, and Horchata to drink to go with them. And, despite being stuffed, we squeezed in one delicious fried ice cream between us and were glad we did! There were lots of staff and our waitress, Bonnie, and bus person, whose name we did not get, were attentive and friendly but it did seem a little disorganized, perhaps due to the nature of the day. Nonetheless, we all ate well and enjoyed the restaurant. Would definitely go back again. Added attraction, look for the burrowing owls in the lot behind the restaurant parking lot!
When you first walk in to this restaurant, your nose is welcomed to the smell of floor cleaner or a dirty bathroom scent. Either way, it’s not pleasant. The hostess was nice and then we waited 5 minutes to be waited on, which was unnecessary. Food was served quickly. My mole enchiladas were tasty although the mole sauce tasted like it was old, not fresh. The accompanying beans and rice were standard Mexican restaurant fare, boring. One of my fellow diners was not impressed at all with the food. The decor is old and needs complete overhaul. For three people getting three entrees with one beer, the bill was $53.
The food was pretty bland and the only real flavor we had was onion. There were so many onions. I ordered chicken fajitas, i had only a single strip of green pepper, the rest of the veggies were all onions. Nothing was even what I would rate as good. The reviews on trip advisor were good, but it looks like this place may have gone downhill.
First time and last time. Service was horrible. The waitress avoided eye contact with us every time we needed her. Had to go up to the bar to ask for refill of salsa & water. Did not approach our table or at least 8 minutes after she sat us I had to say excuse me do we have a server? Food was nothing to write home about. My steak fajitas were okay but I've had much better and both my husband and I couldn't even eat the refried beans they were horrible.
The food and service are either great or awful. There is no in between. If you sit in Yoel’s section - worst service ever. As for the food, who knows. Just very inconsistent.
Visited here tonight for the first time. Ample parking around building. Staff was courteous and professional. Restaurant was very busy upon arrival. Chips and salsa was ok, the salsa was a bit watered down. Had a mariachi playing live music, which was nice. Meals were hot and good. Would visit again.
Tried to call to order take-out (online ordering not available according to website), but was asked to hold, then hung up on after 6 min. Decided this was due to the place being popular/the food good so went there ourselves to order take-out. Waited a long time at the desk. The senior staff seemed annoyed with us and after waiting a long time for “the guy” we were to order with, we gave up and walked out. Very poor experience due to very poor/rude service!
