I have been coming into this restaurant for a few years now, and let me just say: it’s always phenomenal service. The food is always cooked fresh and the wait staff are so pleasant. I’ve tried a few different dishes in my time spent here, and the food is always exceptional. If your looking for some great pizza, come in and support this family business. I recommend Dominique, she provides exemplary service! 5 out of 5!

Had my first trip here and honestly felt like the crust was a frozen one(based on how it looked and the holes imprinted) and the pizza overall had zero taste to it. Salt was definitely needed and the meat topping we ordered was pretty much nonexistent but they definitely charged 25.00 for it altogether. My date said she'd prefer dominos to this as she felt like we had been robbed. This wasn't New York style this was more like Publix frozen food style. Seeing quite a few similar reviews I can tell I'm not the only one.

We just spent over $100 on two pizzas and some pasta and they did not include parmesan cheese or crushed red pepper to go with our to-go order that was delivered by grubhub. There was no clear box to check stating you wanted those things on the ordering app. Most places include those automatically and when I phoned the restaurant, they stated it was not normally included and that they were sorry. They did not offer to send some to our home so that we could enjoy our order the way most people get to enjoy it. Poor service for standard inclusions.

I was out and about and craving some pizza, and the photos I saw online of the this place reminded me of traditional Italian restaurants I knew growing up in New Jersey, so I thought I'd check it out. When I arrived in the parking lot, I couldn't tell if it was open, and almost drove off. Even when I approached the front door, I couldn't tell, and almost left again, but decided to check the door, and it was open. (!)My original plan was to get a couple slices (whichthey offer at a so-very-NY front counter, but once I was inside, I liked the place's vibe, so I decided to dine in.(The restaurant was dark and quiet when I came in, but within 10 minutes a large family with kids sat at the table next to me, and that was the end of the quiet! They were adorably boisterous and showing off their DuoLingo German to their grandparents, though, which was just fine.)The regular (thin crust) pizza is listed in the menu as "New York Style," so I told the waitress I wanted "a large New-York-Style pepperoni and mushroom pizza," but she had no idea what I was talking about, and asked what I meant, so I had to point out to her how it's listed.(The menu also lists "Sicilian Style," a *true* sign of an actual Italian NY/NJ pizza place!)The 16" pizza came out in about 15 minutes, and it was still sizzling. I let it cool down a bit (having too often experienced pizza-burned roof-of-mouth), and added some grated parmesan. The first bite had two primary aspects: the crust is decidedly "New York"--thin, slightly crunchy on the outside, but flakier and moister next to the sauce--but...the sauce is just slightly too sweet. After a few more bites, I decided that this is *exactly* like most of the pizza you get on the streets of New York or on the boardwalk in New Jersey. It's what you'd expect from a typical pizza joint or family Italian restaurant. Not what I'd call exemplary or especially tasty... that is, mainstream New York.I did rather quickly devour half the large pie, though, and I felt overwhelmed with that rather familiar "can-I-possibly-stuff-more-of-this-in-my-mouth?" feeling, which is certainly a sign of decent 'Za.With two glasses of okay house wine, plus tip, my bill was $43. (And I left with half a pie.)It's not easy around here (SWFL) to find a decent re-creation of the pizza of my youth. This is certainly it, and I might sometime bring in friends or family from back home (especially if they're feeling homesick!), but I doubt I'll make a special trip otherwise. There are tastier options around (but maybe without the familiar interior vibe).

Amazing pizza ! So glad I accidentally found this place .. Already dined in twice this week ????

My Autistic son was discriminated by Theresa for a valentines date he had scheduled. The minute I walked into the restaurant I told hostess my son is on a date w his girlfriend ( he's 20) and sometimes has a hard time with the bull. The waitress was very seeet and understanding and say them. I assumed since it was slow w 1 other table I would sit on the opposite side and dine w my little ones. I offered to tip the waitress double she obliged and sat us both ... in an empty restaurant. Theresa came out, had a fit and practically made us join or leave. I choose this restaurant as I have lived here 35 years, knew they were local mom and pops and grew up w some family members. I'm shocked Theresa was so rude to a young disabled couple trying to enjoy a date and her behavior was appalling. Another patron followed my to the parking lot apologizing

A mom brought her Teenage son in and he’s Autistic, she called ahead to make sure they could accommodate her son and his girlfriend sitting at one table while herself and a friend sit at another so her autistic son and his date can have privacy. They said yes they’d love to accommodate that. Then they get there and Theresa (who says she’s an owner) started screaming belligerently at this nice mom telling her they couldn’t “waste” two tables and had to sit together. She then made them leave. The local District Attorney has been contacted and they’ve been reported by many for violations against Americans with disabilities for this disgusting act. Don’t support them. Also the mom that they did this to is a huge supporter of the special-needs community in your community she does tons for mentally and physically challenged children, so for her child to be treated this way it’s absolutely horrifying.Don’t go to this restaurant instead report them to them to the ADA for violations.

Use to like this place more and bragged about how great the Sicilian style pizza was, thick airy crust with the crispy caramelized edges, suggested friends join us for a casual meal, planned to share the famed Sicilian pie as an appy. Was told they didn't have anymore as they only make a limited amount and was already out at 5:30 on a saturday. Got a regular pie that had a sticky sweet sauce taste and was just ho-hum. Five people at table 4 garlic knots, entrees do not come with a soup or salad! Menu is very limited to run of the mill parm dinners and some simple sauces. In days gone bye we,d ask if they'd do a "white pie" of Alfredo sauce, spinach and garlic which was amazing, these days they want to churn out the basics. Waitresses serving us seemed confused and sluggish. It's interesting to see all the 5-star reviews, it goes to show you the power that a ladle of sauce a fist full of mozzarella cheese blend on a fried piece of chicken cutlet constitutes satisfying Italian food. I have to take this off my recommend list and won't go back.

terrible customer service and lack of ada accommodations

The owner Theresa is absolutely terrible! Extremely hateful towards customers and the staff!! They sit you at the table and then make you get up to go pay for your food before they make your food. If something comes out wrong you might as well just deal with and consider your money gone. I had a friend that worked here and it was a daily thing getting to hear a new story about how the owner was super hateful and disrespectful. Also, worst of all, just had a friend take her special need kid and his date there for dinner and then a movie and the owner there’s screamed at the adults that sat in a separate booth in an empty restaurant to give them babies privacy and some independence they don’t get much of. Just an absolutely disgusting thing to hear. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER.
