Asked for my DoorDash order politely twice and ended up waiting 25-30 minutes before I asked a third time if the order was ready because some walk in who came 20+ minutes after me got their order made before me. The DoorDash order was just sitting on the counter instead of given to me or placed on the to go rack. 5+ workers with a manager and still couldn't give timely service. A huge waste of my time, will try to avoid this place from now on, dont have this issue most places I pick up DoorDash orders from.
Mandy and everyone else is awesome. The door dash app does not have an option to make most of the subs cold, so I call each time and they always get it right. Our household caught Covid and this is about the only thing we can keep down. Thank you for keeping us fed during this tough time.
This place is awesome. I’ve had a single issue in the 3 years I’ve been eating here, and they replaced the sandwich right away. Polite, professional and great food!
Very reliable for consistent quality. Great sandwich, honestly. Only issue is I constantly say "no pickle", and I am always given one. Seems odd to mention, but, more often than not, the pickle is in the container with your sandwich and not wrapped. Even if it is wrapped, it still leaks pickle juice. I cannot stand the taste of dill, and having pickle juice soak in to my sandwich makes it unavoidable. I say no pickle for a reason, and it is always ignored.
Food was good and made in a timely manner but the young lady taking my order was extremely rude. I order the hook and ladder, she asked if I wanted it fully loaded I said no thank you extra mayo only. Then I ordered a meatball and said not fully loaded please... she then rolled her eyes at me and said it didn't come with that! Well I didn't know that! And as I ordered a salad and soup she rolled her eyes after everything as if she was saying are you done yet? Sucks when you really love a place and the staff ruins it!
I pick up food from here regularly for doordash and uber eats. Most of the employees go out of there way to act like you are not there. I am constantly left to wait 15+ minutes for the food. Its also very frustrating when you are waiting over 15 minutes and people that just walked in get there food first. This seems to happen to me 90% of the time even during non busy hours. I also notice half the time no names are called out when orders are finished they just leave them sitting on the counter. The food is still good whenever I order for myself but for the wait time and customer service id rather eat elsewhere. I dont really like writing these reviews as it feels harsh but when things like this are constantly happening some places just need a wake up call. Id just like to have a good experience at this location one time. I hope this feedback helps to highlight some areas that need improvement.
We were a weekly visitor here until our last visit. We order online via the app like always. It says ready at 815pm. I arrive and see no orders ready for pick up then say i am here for online. People start coming in. Then orders start going out for online, each order they call the name out. I notice someone puts a bag on the counter, no name announced. Finally after 40 minutes standing waiting a girl says who are you here for. I say.my name. It is the order they put on counter 35 minutes earlier. She points and rudely says it's right there. These were hot sandwiches, were. I told her I didn't want those and no one announced the order? she shrugs and was nasty. I then say just give my money back. You would think I would get a sorry or a response. Nothing just gave my money with not a word. I notice she is a manager, Kathy. Mr. Polosky you need to rethink that one. Suck because we liked going there! In reading the recent reviews this seems to be a trend at this Firehouse!
Seriously can't believe how neglectful this place is. I'm so angry that I decided to write a review as calling would have been not pleasant. I am gluten free and ordered a gluten free hook and ladder. I get home and take a giant bite and guess what, ITS NOT GLUTEN FREE!! I've been sick on the toilet since and am wondering why my needs could have been accommodated. Horrible stomach issues and now my day is ruined.Thanks!
I used to love coming here! Brought the kids in guy taking the order didn't know the menu, the "managers" attitude was not good, the order was wrong on two out of three sandwiches, asked to remake one and was gonna get charged for a new sandwich, the sandwich I ate tasted horrible. Very disappointed. To many options in the area to waste your money here
Lots of employees, not much urgency, dining room full of people waiting. Last week was great food, ordered same thing this week not so good. Consistency needs work but I'll try it again another time
