We've been going to Dante's for the last 8 years and it's been our all-time favorite. However, under its new management, it's been VERY disappointing. Pizza is not cooked properly, lacking in the amount of toppings, and extremely slow service. And the wings, which my wife has always loved, have not been cooked long enough. Overall, the quality has gone downhill and I'm very sad to say, but we'll now be looking for a new place to visit.
Pizza is delicious but waiting hour when you are the only customers has no excuse. Waitress was worse there can be, mixed up orders, mis read orders, spilt chicken sauce all over customer seated next to me. So many other businesses to go to and not repeat this mistake. the tabletops were filthy as napkins slid across the surface revealed dirt stains.
New owners and new pizza. The old pizza was awesome. Great flavor, fresh ingredients, and cooked perfectly. The new owners need to call the old owners and get the recipe. Now, their new entrees and appetizers are very good and I will be coming back for those. I just really miss the pizza though.

The first impression when we walked in was that this was clean and well appointed dining room. The server was quick to the table and very friendly. We ordered a Caesar salad to split and they brought us an extra plate and offered more dressing. Then we had the pizza. Nice thin crust. Good sauce and tasty cheeses. Great experience. We will be back to try the dinners.
You Will Wait FOREVER!!!! We came at 8:00 and we waited over an hour for two pizzas. Save your time and get Pizza Hut. It’s not worth the wait.
First time at Dante's tonight all started well as the waitress was attentive and willing which is unusual today. We ordered a couple drinks, a beer, and a mixed drink. I was watching the waitress get our drink order and to my surprise the bartender poured the beer and made the drink but left the lime to the waitress. Just prior to her fingering my lime she was twirling her hair and rubbing her face while waiting on the drinks. As a former service industry worker it is very well known not to touch your skin or hair in public view. Needless to say I didn't drink my drink. While waiting for my pizza I observed her speaking with the manager twirling her hair, rubbing her face again, and to my surprise run her finger across her lips. Just wow is all I can say, Could I have asked for the manager and complained, yes, but I choose not to, and not wanting her to lose her job over it. My hope is that the manager who is in charge of training their staff see's this and talks to her staff about these type things.
I went Saturday with my family and the food, atmosphere, and service was amazing! Everything had so much flavor and you could tell it was freshly made.We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip for an Appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. And I am a cheese lover so I loved how much cheese the dip had.We all ordered something different for dinner. Calzones, pizza, and I had the Chicken Parmesan pasta. All the food was delicious! The smell alone could make your mouth water. Definitely would love to come back again!
Stop here last night.We ordered a margarita pizza well done is was ok. Pizza came out soggy and floppy had to eat it with a fork and knife not my kind of pizza. We also ordered the meatball appetizer which turned out to be outstanding. Might go back for meatballs only ..Then after dinner we sat patiently as there was nobody around in the restaurant and our waitress disappeared and then i walked into the back ask another server where my waitress was for a checkI was told she's in the bathroom not what you tell customer at restaurant gross .So waited another 20 minutes only busboy n bartender no manager or owner around and then finally she came out with the check put it on the table and walked away This is what happens when the owner or manager leaves before last customers is served.
So a couple years back, I stopped in to grab a pizza to bring home...peperoni and mushroom is my fav....I order and the bartender sez: "we are outta mushrooms"...I leave shacking my head and thinking, what kind of pizza joint runs outta mushrooms? So tonight...we are driving home and we just feel like grabbing a pizza...we are heading north from Cape Coral pkwy and think, let's give Dante's a chance...we call for an order to pick up...I say, large pepperoni and mushroom....well guess what, the person sez "we are outta mushrooms"! Unbelievable! There's a Publix a mile away and now, Farmer Joe's across the street, where they could pick up a semi load of mushrooms if they had to....but NO! What kind of Italian/pizza place runs outta mushrooms? NOT once...but twice!! Crossed off our list!!
