great food and fun atmosphere
Great place to work and great food
Interesting menu, great staff. Give it a try. Locals spot which we seek out. Prime rib sandwich and deviled eggs a must order
Just had dinner here and everything was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back and try it again. Also quick and friendly service.
I used to live in Cape Coral and I loved going here for girls night out and date night with the hubby. I love their live music and their food. Every time we visit Cape Coral we always stop by Cork Soakers to eat our favorite sandwich: hangover!!!! As for the appetizer we always get the devil eggs. We were visiting the area this weekend and we stopped by to get lunch there. The rocket salad is my favorite and besides the hangover sandwich we also had desert. It was our first time trying that desert and I loved it!!!! It was pina colada cheesecake!!! So if you are considering to visit the place: definitely order the hangover and the pina colada cheesecake desert. Our server was also very nice. Highly recommend this place
We have never been disappointed at Cork Soakers in the Cape. They have a handful of the usual fare found in most restaurants which is delicious but also have a few quirky items on the menu, that I have enjoyed. The chef makes the best risotto I have ever eaten. I find that he seasons everything perfectly. The soups that come out of kitchen are Yummy! I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. Their takeout is well planned with above average containers. They even let me use my 1/2 birthday reward for takeout even though it said dine in only- which I had missed when I was l received it. Although I am not much of a drinker, I’m have enjoyed a few concoctions that I would compare to an upscale cruise cocktail. This review probably sounds like I am a silent partner! Hah just a big fan!!!
My experience here was far from good. I have never been so disappointed in service! First, I am not a picky customer and I always give credit where credit is due. I have the utmost respect for business owners and servers. Unfortunately, I cannot say one good thing about this place. I ordered the tomato salad the tomatoes were not ripe so I was not able to enjoy it. I told the server and she smirked sarcastically said sorry and acted as if I was trying to get something for free. I was not offered anything else. My husband made a comment about his meal and the servers snapped at him saying that he "ate it" HE MADE A COMMENT NOT A COMPLAINT. When my bill came I politely asked for it to be taken off. I was told "I already let the manager know this table would be a problem and the plates were cleared so.." When the manage/owner Mr. Mulroy came to our table he had a terrible attitude raised his voice so loud that the tables outside watched the show. He proceeded to tell me he would not argue with me that he did not "grow the tomatoes" In my opinion, he was the most unprofessional manager I have ever seen and I would not have given this place any stars if it let me. Please let me add I had family in from out of town that had to witness this, extremely disappointing!
Excellent beach town restaurant and bar with a great name! We stopped for drinks and apps after seeing the owner on HGTV's My Lottery Dream Home. He won 1.4 million on a scratch off and bought the restaurant. Also bought a cool house.
Worst customer service experience we have ever had. We submitted an online order and afterwards I called to add an item to our already $150 order. I was immediately told that three items I ordered were no longer on the menu and that my order was being canceled. I called back to speak to the manager and was told that he was the owner and he canceled my order because three items that I requested were no longer on the menu. I then asked him why he didn’t offer me the option to change out those items and his response was , and I quote, “I didn’t want to”. Never in my life has anybody who owns a business has ever talked to me like this. My wife called after my call to speak with the manager and he said and again, I quote, “I am the owner, my name is Bob Mardee (sp) and we are busy as hell and not doing to-go orders”. We love small businesses and try to spend our money with small businesses every chance we get, but we will never spend a penny of our hard earned money in this establishment the rest of our lives and we will definitely tell everybody that we know to not spend any money here either.
Fabulous music snd good. Love corksoakers. Had the Ralph’s shrimp and grits yummy! Service was very good as usual. Happy st Patrick’s day.
