Just getting from my car into the restaurant all you smelled was charcoal lighter fluid odor. Ordered steak and that’s all you tasted, couldn’t eat it.

Really cool rustic atmosphere. Excellent service. Pulled pork was very tender. Fresh cut fries very good. Sauce I had on the side. Glad I did. Worst tasting bbq sauce ever! Tasted more like ketchup. No choice for tangy or sweet sauce. Very disappointing. I like a sweet sauce with molasses and brown sugar. Dark and rich.
We went for a late lunch, ordered Bloody Marys, which were terrible. No salt around the rim and not even a stick of celery. We both had the ribeye steak, and those were absolutely awful. We did not finish. I am not sure what the house salads are. They appear to be shredded ice berg lettuce, one small piece of tomato and some onion. Maybe bacon bits? They apply the dressing, which is tastless. The corn bread was so dry, it crumbled when you tried to pick up. The service was ok, not real friendly. This was our first time there, and we will never go back.
Dined in today- Saturday, for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Tia took care of us, and she was lovely. The food was pretty good too. You can tell they’re known for their red meat. We got burgers, and a cheese steak. All juicy and full of flavor. The corn bread muffins were a bit dry, but they were free so I can’t complain. I also ordered their mac and cheese, and baked sweet potato drenched in cinnamon butter, and wow, those two sides were immaculate. True southern style cooking. I would come here again. Not to mention their menu is fairly priced. They have a lunch menu, as well as an early bird menu so that’s pretty cool.
Used to be favorite restaurant. Got a sampler, everything was burnt. Sent it back and still had to pay for it. Sides that came with meals, burnt..... Kids chicken, burnt.....Wings, not cooked....Medium Steak, insanely dry..... Come everytime we are in town and sadly wont be coming back. I usually avoid writing such negative reviews but this was dissapointing.
I absolutely love bubbas. I feel like I'm out in the middle of the country somewhere at a cute little bar and grill. I always get the original sirloin. It's awesome everytime. I get the loaded baked potato and it is just delicious. The servers are always nice. The atmosphere is always fun and its just a great place to eat, hear good music, and make lifelong memories. I'll be going there forever!!
We have gone to Bubba's several times before when we visit family in Cape Coral. The food used to be good but this time it was inedible. I should have known that it was going to be a bad food night when my steak kababs had a strange chemical odor, and my husband and daughter's burgers were cooked beyond well done - crumbly and dry when it was supposed to be cooked medium. That was not even the worst of it. My baked sweet potato appears to have a gravy like consistency. Come to find out I had taken a bite of rotten potato! The green beans were cooked beyond mush, and I can't believe they actually served them.
The food wasn't that great the server didn't order half of the food we asked for! BUT the building was cool and the band was great!
1st and last time here. Came in and it really looked like a nice local steakhouse. Get our salad, should have given us a straw not a fork. The cornbread muffins I will not comment on as I do not like corn bread. My wife get the pulled pork platter. We eat alot of BBQ from home and local places. This was straight up some prepackaged stuff from Walmart. Just mush. Not a single piece of solid in it. I order the 13oz prime rib rare. I have had prime rib more than any other steak. It's my favorite. It got put in front of me and looked absolutely disgusting. The entire outside was a hard layer of fat. Yes prime rib does have fat in it and that is the most wonderfully melt in your .outh part of it. This was hard. The prime rib was colder than my beer. My fries are also cold yet the still have grease dripping from them. This is only my experience from this place. I will not tell people not to eat here as everyone is different. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as in the past. We went on prime rib special night. I ordered mine medium and it was served raw and very thin with brown color on the outside. My sweet potato wasn't cooked completely and just ate the top. The Mac n cheese was not very good tasting either. The green beans had no flavor. But the drinks were good at least. I wouldn't recommend going there are to many other restaurants.
