Amazing family oriented restaurant ❤️❤️

Great little hole in the wall cafe. A convenient and delicious place to stop when coming the back way into Brooksville from the north. Be patient and not in a hurry and you will immensely enjoy your time here!

I don't do this often, but I have to give this place a big NO. Not a good experience at all. ? Is one star the lowest I can go?Prices are extremely high for what you get, and the choice is very limited.Besides the high prices, expect to pay extra for sides, even the breakfast is upcharged for any meats you want, and if you want fries with the $8.95 medium sized burger, it'll cost you an extra $2.75. A glass of iced tea will set you back $2.25, and the soda drinks come out of a can and do not have free refills. The scrambled eggs were like dried rubber, and the home fries were literally soaked in oil.Just do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile or so into town where there are several other restaurants which serve well cooked, nice food, and give you value for money.

I was excited to try this place and it was such a major let down. My first attempt I called to place an order to go, I was immediately put on hold and after 5 minutes I hung up. I called back and the line was busy. After several attempts I gave up. They clearly never came back to put the phone back on the hook. The second and final time I was able to place an order, I was told 25-30 minutes until pick up. No problem, I’m not close so I had to drive. I get there and the order isn’t ready. I’m like ok, it’s 2 BLT’s with potato salad. No problem wait another 10 minutes and still nothing. No one says anything to me about my order. So I ask how much longer…. They say another 15 minutes! They hadn’t even started my order! They said they “were really busy”… then why take my to-go order if you were that slammed? I canceled my order and left. Complete waste of gas. I really wanted to like this place, it’s the closest restaurant to me.

Breakfast was good. Pricey for the portions. The breakfast burrito was small to medium at best and cost too much for that size but I get it. Everyone needs to make their money back that they lost during the covid slow downs.

Everything was wonderful! Perfect and quick BLT! ??

Great country spot with friendly staff and fresh homemade food. Will definitely be back to try other items. Updated menu pictures with Biden era pricing

One of the worst dining experiences I've had. I generally don't write reviews, even after a negative experience, because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was an off day. However, I am truly shocked at the number of positive reviews this place has(one of the reasons we chose to try it) and something needs to be said.1- Food took 50 minutes to make it to the table. (Party of 3- simple breakfast order)2- Waitress brought our food to the wrong table, then tried to give it to us after the other patron had touched it with the claim that they hadn't, meanwhile my sister saw it touched.3- Blueberry French Toast special was ordered- they ran out of the blueberry syrup topping, but rather than communicating that- delivered the order with plain, unappetizing, cooked blueberries on the side. This dish came to the table luke-warm without the powdered sugar that the menu states that it comes with.4- Food was greasy- feeling queasy since leaving over an hour and a half ago5- Home fries with one order were undercooked, the other were cooked correctly, but both were so salty they weren't even edible6- My sister didn't eat her French Toast order, and pushed it to the side- dissatisfied. At checkout- she asked why we were getting charged for a plate that didn't get eaten- waitress claimed to have checked on us- claiming that we didn't tell her the dish was bad- that's false bc after delivery of the food & asking if we needed anything else- she did not return to check- in.I believe the restaurant has 7 or 8 tables. There were 2 waitresses working, along with who appeared to be the owner, another staff member cleaning, and I believe 1 cook on duty.Perhaps they need additional cooking staff to help get orders completed in a more timely manner, but they definitely need to make sure they have product when offering specials. Pay attention to the amount of butter or oil being used, along with the amount of salt/ seasonings being added.

Quaint little place on the heart of Brooksville. The menu has a variety of specialty items you don't usually find at your standard breakfast place's. Getting the Blueberry french toast but will be back to try the Chocolate gravy biscuits.

The wait at the Florida cracker was too long so we drove a mile down the road to the Farmer's Wife Cafe. Great choice. Had authentic biscuits and gravy like our family makes. Had a great omelet. But it was really the southern hospitality from all the ladies that made our breakfast/lunch epic. Thank you!
