Very sweet young lady at the order desk. That's the good part. Hate the new order system where they beg a tip before you get your meal. Got a variety of items, Hot and sour was passable but lacking critical elements, sauce for dumplings thin and watery and lacking flavor, dumplings straight from the freezer with minimal filling. Lastly the food doesn't merit the cost and the decor is in a word, "ghastly".
Tried this place for the first time. Food was very bland. Hot and sour soup was just mushrooms and cabbage in a beef broth. They give you good size portion unfortunately it's not that great. Service was very slow. Was not ready after calling it in.
This was the best little Chinese resturant for its size. Staff was very nice. Meal portions were large. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli with white rice and egg roll $7.99. Wish this little restaurant was in my home town. I would eat there regularly. It was very good.
Used to eat here all the time but lately their food hasn’t been as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller and prices have gone up. Wouldn’t mind prices increasing but the food quality has gone down and you’re paying way too much for the amount and quality you’re getting. I remember when this place used to have amazing deals and large portions and the food actually tasted good. The general tao chicken is not the same. The egg rolls soggy and like nothing on inside. Fried rice is pretty good still. I know they’re family owned small Chinese restaurant in brooksville but maybe they’ve bit off more than they can chew. Sadly looking for new take out spot. Also $5.95 for Thai iced tea with no boba !! that’s crazy! If you’re getting it with no boba it should definitely be less! Especially when the size of the cup is like 12 ounces!
Checked out this place yesterday for take-out. I was looking forward to the hot and sour soup and I also got chicken noodle soup. The hot and sour was neither hot nor sour. Just a beef-type broth with vegetables. Worst ever and I've had a lot of soup. The chicken noodle soup was also sad. The noodles were the kind you get in canned chicken noodle soup. Broth was weak. The taro Bao was decent but I would not go back. I lived in Taiwan and believe me this food does not resemble Taiwanese food in any way. The Taiwanese use a lot of many types of vegetables. The only vegetables I saw here were onion, celery, and a few carrots. The biggest problem, is that the management does not take responsibility for the reviews that are not 5 stars. Rude and defensive.don't complain, just walk away and don't go back.
Always amazing food and service! And I love the new look! ??
I'm not one to complain or leave reviews but this one had to be said. I been going to this location since we moved here 4 years ago. This was the best spot over other restaurant. Unfortunately I'm not sure what's going on. This is the second time that we go and I feel like I wasted my money. Yesterday I purchased our regular order and pick it up all fine. When I get home after spending 44 dollars I was very disappointed regarding the portion of these meals (they looked like a kids menu item) and food some what bland. I contacted them and they did gave us a bigger portion but unfortunately the rice only tasted like grease. They said that they had a second cook cooking yesterday. Maybe you guys should give the cook a bit more training or go back to your first cook because you will be loosing loyal customers due to food not being upto par.Their customer service is always amazing and that also have to be said.
Being of Chinese descent, I am very picky about my Chinese food. Excellent. Authentic. The reviews that complained about lack of spice probably are used to Americanized-Chinese food. There are different types of food in China depending on the region. This food is spot-on. Flavorful. Fresh. Not overly spiced or overly-MSG'd
With all the new renovations, the inside is so aestheticAnd the food is the best there is. The bubble tea although went up in price are still very much worth it. Delicious!!
Food absolutely terrible !!! Had to throw away 40 bucks worth of food. I normally don't ever complain because I love Chinese food but the chicken was like rubber, there was a beetle in my sweet and sour sauce, & the wonton soup was just gross. I will never place an order here again.
