We were just cruising toward our stay cation and read the words "Fresh ". They did not disappoint even the baby had a blast. The servers are amazing, helpful and ready to smile. The portions are crazy. I would drive that 1.5 hours just to eat there again
Small town eatery with really fresh and happy food and a fresh and happy staff
A charming downtown Brooksville cafe. The service is exactly what you would expect at a mom and pop cafe. Absolutely believe the hype around the Cuban. Delicious. Friendly. The small cafe is decorated with street signs appropriate for its namesake. Highly recommended. Oh and save room for the cobbler.
We just happened to be in Brookville for a short time and a friend (a local) recommended MSE. Our lunches were delicious. We left feeling pleased and satisfied. Friendly waitstaff also.
Small hometown diner! Sandwiches were delicious and I can’t even put into words the delicious desserts. We will visit again for sure!
We travel to the area for disc golf events and have stopped at this amazing place every time! Multiple days as well. We would give it more than 5 stars if we could! Food is amazing, great prices, quick service and quality employees. A serious favorite of ours! Food is amazing reheated also. We got their Cuban and Turkey cranberry sandwiches and their hamburger bean soup is to die over! Don’t forget their homemade desserts. Highly recommended
The Cuban is all they claim it to be! Fantastic. MSE seems a favorite of locals with fairly basic offerings. It's a casual environment with fair prices. We visited on 3.14 (Pie Day). Had the peanut butter pie with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. Just right!Service was friendly and fast. I'd run back, but we have to wait until we head over to the west coast again.
We were in Brooksville just wondering around to find a place to have lunch. What a find. A quaint little eatery, lots of ambiance, friendly waitress and moderately priced. Could be a little bigger.
Where's the beef? Ordered the #24 roast beef on a ciabatta roll. It was literally the smallest sandwich I have ever seen in the world. There was a tiny amount of roast beef on a terrible little ciabatta roll. I could eat 2 of those sandwiches and still be hungry. The price, 7.50 wasn't bad until I realized this was more of a slider than a sandwich. Heading back out now, still hungry. If you're stuck in Brooksville go to Publix for a sandwich.Response : I would recommend more options of bread and meat for people who eat more than a 1/4 pound child sized sandwiches. Get hero bread silly, how have you been in business this long. Just shy of a quarter pound, do you hear that people where's the beef? Might have to weigh that next time if I ever make it back to blumpkinville. That beans and rice was trash also. Take constructive criticism or stay in a rut.
Nice little place to eat at didn't have a great size menu but enjoyed our time there
