I found 5 Hungry Howie's boxes of rotten food on my front door step that they delivered to the wrong house from a day ago. There was ants and flies and food all over. I called the store and the manager said there is nothing she can do for me and she would have the owner call. The owner never called. So after calling back 5 hours later the owner says clean your mess up and don't call back and hung up the phone.Don't deal with this business and rude owner. There are plenty of good family run restaurants in Brooksville.
ATTENTION OWNER/MANAGEMENT: I have been ordering from this location for many many years. I have a large family and always spend $75 to $100, several times a month.Recently, they changed their phone system which is absolutely terrible. I train large customer service staffs for companies and know my business well. This new system keeps you on the phone way too long with a couple of different systems intertwined. After 3 sperate calls, I was disconnected because their phone system kept glitching. The second time a new hire with an Indian accent so thick, picked up and we went back and forth withe many "what" "please repeat that", ect.. the diversity hire is great, but if a customer can't understand him and it extends the call several minute, the corporation is failing at a rapid order turnaround time.I asked for the manager because they cannot repeat older orders as they have for years. Being able to repeat a former order feature keeps turn around time on a call to a minute or so which is excellent. After 7 MINUTES on hold, I hung up and called back. Either there is no management plan for calls on hold or the manager sees himself as too important to come take a call. Clearly I was forgotten on the call.I called back to get the same Indian boy who had very low knowledge and seemed to fumble about trying to find the words to serve me properly. Again, I asked for the manager, 10 minutes later no manager.I love Hungry Howie's food, but like most Americans, I love me more and view my time as valuable nothing makes a customer feel more worthless than almost 20 MINUTES ON HOLD WITH NO ORDER SUCCESSFULLY PLACED.I will be taking the $200 to $300 I've spent here monthly for many years and give it to a competitor. The upgrade or whatever this is has drove me away. Maybe one day if you get a system back in place that is competitive for nation wait times for food delivery I might be back.I am a patient man but the phones system, plus excessive hold & answering times, plus management that's non existent, and employees with accents so thick they can't be understood makes this too painful to bear.I'll take my money elsewhere. Get your act together. The service was EXCELLENT as it was for years. Now it's amongst the worst I've ever seen.
The best pizza I've had in a long time. Great people, great food. Thanks Deryk.
The pizza was fresh and not too greasy, would reccomend the cheese bread. It's a personal favorite<3
Lil light on the sauce last few times but good pizza overall.
I'm new to Florida, tried hungry Howie's this evening. Best pizza ever, loaded with toppings and cheese. Way better than all the other pizza chain. And less than 10 bucks for large 2 topping
Good for when you can't figure out what you want to eat. Fast service.
I dropped an F bomb while asking about an order that I did not receive. I was hung up on. Exactly appropriate. My hangry gives me no right to berate a teenager.
Great pizza in the middle of nowhere here in Brooksville! Try garlic crust with hamburger!
Our Hungry Howies locale in Brooksville Fl. had a large two topping pizza deal $8.99 per pizza. We ordered two pepperoni and bacon pizzas and one sausage and bacon pizza. My husband went to pick it up and was charged $36.00 and some change. After he got home we called and were told that bacon is an upcharge $3.00 per pizza! Which I was never informed of. Next time we will be taking our business to Pizza Hut!! Adding a photo of the receipt which doesn’t show an up charge or for that matter any totals
