Best chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. It's cooked when ordered tho so be prepared to wait! Doughnuts are huge and everyone goes crazy for them at our house. So they're the perfect distraction while you eat all the chicken!
I've been wanting to check this place out for months, but usually off Sunday and Monday(when they are closed). Finally got a chance on a Wednesday and they did not disappoint!People rave about Publix's fried chicken, but I will have to say this place has the BEST fried chicken. It's freshly fried and juicy. Very happy to have a place with specialty flavored donuts.My new go to place for fried chicken and donuts!Can't wait to go back and try out the rest of their menu.
Warning! You will never want a donut from ‘that chain store’ again! Iced Latte has the perfect amount of ice! That other place the cup is filled to the top with ice!They do not cut corners here, a great local business with friendly customer service :)
Was very easy to find after only hearing about this place for the past 3 months!Finally made my way in to find a amazing looking donut shop that is also a restaurant that serves BBQ chicken. I ordered the Glazer!A spectre of sorts chicken tenders smothered in maple bacon between a glazed donut!Now this is one nice looking establishment with plenty of parking and great tasting food! 10 out of 10 recommend!
Best Chicken Tender Special sandwich I've ever eaten. Moist chicken, with special sauce, on a bun, and delicious fries, will have you coming back for more, all for $7.95. If you add a donut, you will be hooked, to return for more. We ate, at one of several tables available, but there was always a line for "take-out" orders. Cash or credit, and sufficient parking available. A very friendly staff are there to help you make your selection. Stop by and write your own review. Hope this is helpful, for your first visit.
If you are looking for a spot that has some cooking like you mama makes this is the place. The fried chicken has the perfect crunch and flavor order it by the dozen you won't regret it. The pork chop is also on point as well. Then it gets even better with there amazing donut selection the cronut is a must have as well as the glaze but there selection is much more vast and delectable you need to go try this home town gem you will be glad you did.
This is a rare and wonderful find!! If you love chicken…this is the place!! We were out for a ride and thought we would stop by. It is 90 minutes from home and we will be back!! The chicken tenders were by far the best he best I have ever had!! Juicy and lightly fried..yumm!!
Edit: went back to try the fried chicken and it was some of the best I’ve had in years. It tastes homemade, there’s lots of spice, and it’s served fresh.We stopped it for some donuts and found the most amazing donut shop. Every single one I tried, glazed, maple, filled, were amazing. And they are huge!!Support your local donut shop and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. They make them fresh, in house.
Excellent food! The owners really put 100% into there food. The doughnuts are the best I’ve ever had!
The signature Glazer sandwich is an interesting novelty sandwich - fried chicken & bacon on a glazed donut. I was a little disappointed. The batter was crunchy but the chicken was very dry and the bacon was crumbly and sparse. My impression of the Glazer is - tasty but dry. The mac & cheese was also dry (not creamy) - it seemed like it had been hanging around for a while. The fries were just ok. I came because this place has a lot of 5 star reviews. Maybe I hit DoughJ's on an off day. If I go again, I'll give the fried chicken a go.
