The BBQ is fine. A lot of people rant and rave about it, so they must be doing well. The only reason for the 3 stars is because it took 45 minutes to get my food when there were only a handful of customers there and they didn't get their food for a long time as well.If they didn't take so long, I would have probably rated it 5 stars because the place is definitely an experience in and of itself, especially on a day with nice weather.
I live in Virginia and was here visiting a friend. She brought me here for dinner and I must say that the Brisket was amazing and the pork BBQ was the best I have ever had! Super friendly staff as well. Wish I lived here so I could eat this all the time!
The food is phenomenal and the staff are just as great! Such kind workers & large portions. The rib dinner was sooo good! Can’t wait to go back!
One of the best bbq places in the area. The ribs were just right meaty and flavorful, the brisket was good and not dried out, the chicken had a good level of smoke, The fried green tomatoes were to die for. The staff was friendly. All in all a great experience.
This place is AMAZING ? their baked beans are in a class of their own. The portions are huge. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs were so tender and full of flavor.
I have enjoyed the brisket here several times recently. So perfectly prepared and flavorful. This brisket doesn't need a sauce, you just savor and enjoy. As a side order I always get their baked beans. They use several different types of beans, some meat and a nice sweet sauce, love the baked beans. Also enjoy their ribs! They always have a fried pie, I love the blueberry! Service is pretty fast here, very casual place you can sit inside or in the garden area outside. Friendly place, great people.
Stopped in at 6pm and ordered the brisket. They said it wouldn't be ready for 20 more mins so I left and came back 35mins later only to find out that it still wasn't ready. Rather than trying to make it up to me with something else or even a discount on the next order, they refunded my $54 (including a 25% tip) back to my card. What a shame as I've never been there before and still don't know how the food tastes. Ended up at Dickies BBQ.
Great service and everything is delicious! Real southern bbq. We treat ourselves to dinner here weekly it’s so good.
Loved that pulled pork sandwich, found no fat on it either which is fantastic. The potato salad is delicious and the sweet potato casserole is one of the best I've ever had. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Everything is awesome here! My wife and I ate tonight and my meal was free because I redeemed my loyalty rewards!! My smoked sausage was good, but honestly they have better dishes, like my wife's brisket. The sweet potato casserole is amazing, but they got rid of they smoky Mac n cheese. I think this is the only bbq restaurant around that doesn't have fried okra, a bbq fav for me. I recommend trying the wings; I've never had such a smoky flavor in my wings before. They also do a great job catering, as they catered my July 4th event last year.
