We found this hidden gem, to us, by chance! Be prepared for a fine dining experience and gourmet food! Our server was amazing, she explained the menu, the wines, and expected wait as our main course was prepared! We started with appetizers of coconut shrimp and Cuban egg rolls! Both are large portions for two and truly amazing! I wish I would have taken a picture of them! Then we had the clam chowder and Cesar salads. The chowder will satisfy anyone from the northeast! Thick base, with lots of clams and excellent flavor! The salads were great with large peices of thinly sliced cheese and plenty of dressing! For the main course we had Mahi Mahi and the Bourguignon Pork. We were both beyond satisfied with the large portions and amazing flavor! The pork was cooked to perfection and the fish was seasoned perfectly! The owner/chef (Eric) personally came out to check on us during the meal! If you want fine dining at a reasonable price, try this place! Reservations are highly recommended, but we were seated immediately as walk-ins! We were dressed very casual!
My husband and I had dinner here for date night. He had ribeye and I had shrimp Alfredo. The portions that I gave you are very very generous and the food was delicious. This is our first time coming here and we will definitely come back. The server was on top of everything and our food came out very quick and pretty much got us in and out with appetizers drinks and dinner and everything in less than an hour. Highly recommend.

Best food and service we have experienced in Hernando County. Was a little dubious when I arrived as it is in a strip mall and the exterior is less than welcoming, but, once inside the welcome and service was superb. We had the lovely Chanel looking after us and she was brilliant. bubbly, fun and very knowledgeable. Food was excellent. nothing to fault (save maybe need an espresso machine!!). Well done guys, we will be back.
Absolutely amazing food! Waitress was great and very attentive. Chef came out to check on us. Cuban egg rolls were delicious. The salmon crab roulede was out of this world! My favorite seafood entrée by far! We loved it so much we went back the next week. My husband’s steak was perfectly cooked. Love this place!
Salad was Great, Dressing was spot on. Loved the cheese. The Cuban egg rolls were absolutely a favorite a favorite perfect flavor and the dipping sauce was beautifully mixed, The Spanakopita was beautifully flaked nice and hot insides and the sauce was truly desirable. Yummy. I had the Cajun chicken Alfredo. Pasta was cooked excellent and the flavoring of the Cajun was spot on from what I'm used to. The breadstick literally tastes like it was homemade in the house I had the scallop potatoes side and that was perfectly done potatoes were not too hard not too overly cooked and the cheese was beautifully prepared I also had the butter broccoli as a side and that was by far some of my favorite broccoli, Wife had the salmon and Pina Colada rice that was truly amazing flavor and the salmon was superbly done and a beautiful thing about the Chop Block Grill is the quantity for what you get is excellent in my opinion. Now the only thing I was not happy about was there's seating is mostly booths, I wear a size 44" pants to size 46 depending on the cut and for me to come here and get a table you apparently need a large party and there's only a couple tables that are 2 seaters actually a table not a booth so in the future I will get my food take out. We love coming here, we love our server Chanel, she is very cordial which makes her an added highlight to our dining experience. They have a small selection of entrées however there’s beef, pork and chicken options, so you won’t be disappointed. They have desserts if after eating your 12 ounces (0.45 kg) or 16 ounces (0.6 kg) of steak you still have room to manage to eat a dessert we love the very airy fluffy Limoncello cake. We shared it and wished we got our own. It is excellent. Make sure you make reservations in advance, so you can enjoy this remarkable food.

Absolutely fabulous! It's in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. The ambience is peaceful and calm. The food is beyond amazing. Done to perfection, very flavorful and fresh! Our waitress Chanel was great, she was kind and helpful made our kids feel right at home. We wanted something that wasn't a chain restaurant we spent a total of 2 hrs but it was worth every second. We will be back!
