Went for a birthday lunch with family and our experience was pretty rocky.We went in for happy hour and ordered a white wine and one beer. Our service came to explain that half of the taps were down (but that the bartender couldn't tell her which were working or not) and that they were out of white wine but no other wine was being offered in replacement for happy hour.So, we changed our order and got a different white wine and other beers. The beer ordering was hit or miss the rest of the time since some taps were up and some weren't.The food was delicious, hot, and delivered in a timely manner. Definitely no complaints there!Our server Kendall was INCREDIBLE. She was absolutely the icing on the cake of the whole experience. She was thoughtful, apologetic, and willing to make multiple trips trying to find beers we could actually order. She is a saint.Our disappointment lies in the management running the establishment. There's no reason that a server should have to be dealing with such an outage of product and NOT have a manager be touching tables and trying to make things right given that WORLD OF BEER was out of half their beers (and happy hiur wine). It was clear that the staff was not supported in the ways they needed to be and frankly, to have 2 wines offered for happy hour and only have one be available with no alternative for the one you're out of seems a little bit ridiculous.Their menu also has the wine we chose listed as $1 less than what it rings up for on the computer so, there's that too!The food and employees were great but the management definitely needs to reevaluate their own customer service when they have things going on in house that can lead to dissatisfied customers.
First time there, WOW!!!!The atmosphere was perfect, the young lady who took care of us was perfect. Now the food, Bolt Burger is the best,and homemade French fries. My wife and I asked for the manager. We told him that everything was perfect. And thanks to all the staff,keep up the great job!!!!
Good place to hang out. Our order was a bit late and needed multiple reminders but the service and beer is generally good. Cobb salad I had was good.
The German pretzel with beer cheese was amazing! And the service was great last Sunday, although it hasn't always been great but mostly because of problems with the food being prepared the other times. It's a bar, so don't expect it to be classy there. We were there once and someone had thrown up all over the toilet.
945 order pickup. That's world of beer telling me the time. Not just some arbitrary time I pulled out of the universe. Sitting at the bar at 955 not even half capacity. No food ready to go. Watch the cook grab half of my order from the freezer at 1005. Get my order at 1020. Of course something is missing. Wait another 15 minutes to get the last item. Maybe I'm just bitter but this seems to be a common occurrence with pickup orders lately. Rather be told an accurate time. I have no problem waiting at home. Only reason for the 2 stars was the great service and help from the bartenders.
I order to go from here all the time! The staff is always so kind, the food is always hot and fresh and recently Kendall gave some great new recommendations to try off the menu. We are always happy with ordering from here!
I was a lot happier since my last visit to a different location. The service was much better, the food was so fresh and good, and the drinks were delicious. I had mixed drinks, and my friend always had a beer in hand. We sat on the patio, and it was a really nice vibe. The food really impressed me. The brussel sprouts were delicious, and I didn't share haha. The truffle fries were good, and the pretzel was amazing!!
Who doesn’t love beer? I do in the world of beer is the Place to go if you’re looking to try a couple different beers. They have them quite a big selection Antonia choose from. The price is great and the service is amazing too. I love world of beer and I will be back to this location and several others in the future thanks WOB!!!!!!
Fun pub like restaurant/bar with tons of beer, wine and drink options. We went after having dinner somewhere else so we only had beer and hard cider at World of Beer. We sat on the back patio, which was a nice relaxed atmosphere. There were outdoor games like Giant, Jenga and cornhole. Overall pleasant experience.
Note to others: If you want the full menu, arrive after 2PM. They only serve a limited menu before then. A little disappointed. Oh, and bring ear plugs. The music was good but really, really loud, especially for 12:30PM on a Sunday afternoon.
