I really enjoyed the meal. The food came out hot and fresh. The staff was very professional and apologetic about wait times due to staffing issues. I got the ranch chicken sandwich and is was juicy and piping hot! Bacon was crispy and cheese nice and melted. I also enjoyed my side salad too. The lettuce was fresh, no wilted pieces or abundance of core. Lastly was the french silk pie. Was sweet, smooth and fresh whipped cream on top! A chocolate lovers dream if you ask me. I would definitely come here again. Very refreshing atmosphere too. As someone with anxiety it didn't feel overwhelming or stressful either. Go head and stop by if you have an hour or two to kill.
We have always liked Village inn! We drove here from lakeland. Very disappointed. Hannah our waitress messed up our sons burger order. When she returned with double burger, they just added a burger to original order. Food was cold and burger was missing dressing. My husband got an ultimate omelet and they forgot peppers. Cook put cold chopped peppers on top. At the end, she told my son he could have a free piece of pie for mess up. For the next 15 minutes all the employees were sitting in a booth talking with assistant General manager while we waited. Hannah complained they were short of help and only had one cook. Won't come here again!
Last night, which was Saturday, my husband and I stopped in to Village aunt for a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. It was about 8:35pm. We just wanted to have some desert. The restaurant was empty but I was pleased to see that the display case had the type of pie I liked. We were greeted by a nice girl who we asked about their pie selections. She informed us that the restaurant was closed because she had carpet cleaners coming and we could take it to go if we wanted. The whole point for stopping in was to have a desert and coffee in an environment that was not our home. We were extremely disappointed because we had just come from the mall where there were tons of choices.Personally, I feel that the restaurant should not have been closed on a Saturday evening.
I went to Village Inn and Brandon whose address is 1995 West Lumsden Road and I asked the white lady manager for two slices of pie and I asked her if I could use my military discount and she told me no and I told her that other Village Inn give me a discount whenever I go there and she told me they don't do that at this one in Brandon whose address is 1995 West Lumsden Road when it comes to carry out and other Village Inns have always given me a discount for carryout orders and then the manager lady asked me if I still wanted the pie and I told her no and that I'm going to another Village inn that gives me a military discount and as I was walking towards the door the lady manager loud talk me and said go to another Village in and get your discount which she understands that that was rude but she said it in a way like she didn't care so if you want military discounts that's carry out go somewhere else where you'll be treated like family
Awesome service, great atmosphere, and excellent food for the price. The value is really there and Liz always makes my family feel special. Love from Las Vegas❤️
Great food and service. I enjoyed it very much.
Ate at one of my favorite placest in Brandon. I especially like the breakfast items on the menu, as they have a good variety, and you actually get quite a bit of food. Today, I had the Garden Fresh Skillet with scrambled eggs, multigrain pancakes and sugar-free syrup and it was delicious.
Waitress told us they are working with a new bakery for their pies so word of warning DO NO ORDER their pies. They are not good at all. The crust is horrible and you get basically a little mini piece of pie not a full piece.Nothing like they used to be. They used to have the best pies around but not anymore.
Angelina was wonderful! Will go back and see her every single time.
I've never been a fan of Village Inn and this visit didn't change my stance. The service was fine, but the coffee was very weak and they food is what you expect at a VI. Stick with their pies and you'll be good to do.
