The ice cream is mediocre. The offerings sound great but they cannot do everything on the menu. We ordered and paid for a dipped ice cream cone, which they could not do. We had to ask for a refund and the staff acted like it was an inconvenience and gave us 3 Quarters instead of the .99+tax we paid and rushed away before we could correct him. We asked for a lid multiple times and kept getting cups instead. They were not busy, which sometimes excuses poor customer service. This place has the worst customer service we've experienced in a while. Toppers and Cold stone have better ice cream and much better customer service
Mediocre ice cream and terrible service. Made us wait 10 minutes in the rain for 2 cones and a cup. Staff was rude and acted like like we were being unreasonable when I asked for a refund on a product they didn’t provide. Go literally anywhere else for a better experience.
Great staff and ice cream. Be prepared to possibly pay with cash or go through the drive through though. If you’re aiming for something small, you might want to go with the kids size, as I feel the normal small can be considered a medium.
Management needs to train better. We have been stopping by this establishment for a while and never had a problem until now. You do not short the customer when YOU are out of pennies! I chalk this up to common sense which the girl serving us had none. It wasn’t that she hid it, saying to us “Your change is short because we are out of pennies” and then shut the drive through window. Is four pennies a big deal? Enough that it earned you this low rating…do better Twistee Treat, treat your customers better.
The patio is very dirty as well as the order counter top. They're in serious need of pressure washer cleaning. One of the patio trash cans was completely full and overflowing onto the ground. The order and pickup windows haven't been cleaned in a VERY long time. The cleanliness of this location overall is disgusting.They also failed to keep adequate supplies on hand to fulfill their order selections but don't offer any discount for a not having all the ingredients either.They really need to step up their performance.
Took my son and they didn’t answer the window for 20 minutes then decided to put a sign up saying drive thru only! Had zero decency to tell us while we were standing there waiting to order. A guy who had ordered at the window prior needed a napkin and they wouldn’t even open the window for him. Absolutely terrible service! Rude employees. Super disappointed.

i love twistee treat but i was visiting family in the area and went to this one and pulled up around 10:09 and there was a car in front of us being served. it says it closes at 10:30 but the speaker told us they were closed. we walked to the window and everyone inside ignored us. i haven’t been to florida in months and was really looking forward to some twistee treat on my last night back home.
Arrived in town this evening tired deciding to pull in last minute thinking "oh great....we're gonna be THAT customer ordering ice cream minutes before they close when probably they already cleaned the machines" considering this clearly noticing one of the employees definitely hosed down the front outside area so spotless to the point you would think they're about to perform open heart surgery on the sanitized bench...but to my surprise the cheerful polite two girls working inside gladly at the last minute accommodated our last minute order which was almost as delicious as the service we received. I tried not to make it obvious grabbing names and I'm probably going to bomb their names guessing what they were something like Marlee and Star I think. Anyways I hope this somehow finds their way letting them know this tired old guy and his wife say thanks....and for their manager to make them an example of what employees should be for the other staff members....and to give them a raise those two girls deserve it. Thanks again ladies
