Food is good. Would probably be GREAT if this place had more customers and the food was a little more fresh. But there is no menu, no prices, no way of actually knowing what they offer. The front of the store is just kind of a disaster with minimal seating/tables. Kind of a dirty mess with a bunch of advertisement flyers everywhere.Just seems like the owner need to put a little more care into their business. No menu on google. No website. Minimal social media. Customer service is also nonexistent. When I asked if there was a menu, I got a dirty look and was just told “no” and stared at.Message to the owner: Put in a little effort and your business will probably do a lot better.
Food was very seasoned and plentiful. And the fresh made juices was amazing...
Smallest portion size I’ve ever had from a Caribbean restaurant. The small oxtail plate cost $17.25 which left me hungry. Worst Caribbean restaurant in hillsborough. The large plate cost over $20. I will stick with my usual spot.
I've been coming here weekly for at least a year. It's clean and so is the bathroom. I get oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage with extra gravy. I've never been dissapointed with that meal. It's more than $20 worth if oxtail and if you know how much they cost to buy it's a fair deal. The taste is consistent and they have a good option of natural drinks.I can definitely agree with others that the jerk chicken is a bit dry. BUT..the stew chicken and curry goat are good.
This place has the best escovitch fish ever!! It’s consistent every time! The only problem is sometimes it’s hard to reach them over the phone, however the food is very good. Try the oxtail as well!
Let me say I eat jerk chicken very frequently and have gone to a plethora of Jamaican restaurants. I was sadly disappointed with the jerk chicken here. It was really dry and the portion size of it was not great either but everything else was.
This might actually be the worst Jamaican restaurant in the western part of the whole Florida....rice and peas was hard like mini rocks...the jerk chicken was burnt with regular barbecue sauce poured on it...oxtail and goat meat was sooooo small.....and had no flavor....all that issue and they have the nerves to charge a lot for that terrible food...ARE THESE PPL EVEN JAMAICAN....SMH....they need to come to miami to get some real training on how to COOK REAL AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD....or definitely back to Jamaica for s refresher course in cooking Jamaican food....THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY.....Does anyone know where in Brandon..tampa where u can get some actual good jamaican food....seems all these restaurants here are fake and garbage....smh
Poor customer service. I ordered jerk chicken and cabbage I tried to return my order because not only was the chicken dry no sauce was on it either. Also I paid 13.00 just for chicken. No cabbage at all. I go to let them know I was not satisfied with my order. They short staff. Only one person cashing out and serving the food. So I stood in line for over ten minutes waiting to get order fixed. But the person in front of me placed an order for everyone in the office. So much for my lunch break I just walked out. No cabbage and only dried chicken that I paid 13 dollars for I will never go back there again.
The best brown stew chicken ever!!!! Restaurant is very clean too.
Loved the oxtail and goat curry. I'll b back
