I really enjoyed Wooden Spoon. Staff is very friendly, food and prices were decent. Creative menu. The breakfast food was not super tasty the first time I went but I went back a second time and had the crab cake Benedict!!!!!. It was delicious!!!!!!A must try!They have mimosas but FYI they are not bottomless on the weekends. Only M-F.. I have attached a few pictures of my meal. I believe with 3 mimosas and a boat load of food, my visit came to $30.(SN: If I could change one thing it would be the front door. Weird I know but when someone comes in the door it slams. It is sooo annoying! )
Came to the Wooden Spoon Diner for brunch today. I had been here before and the service and food was pretty good. Today not so much. The service was AWFUL! Had to wait 30 min for food only for my daughter to have plain pancakes instead of pecan and my fried fish not done. So we sent it back. 25 min later, they bring my daughter back her pancakes. One was chocolate chip and the other plain, and I still didn’t have my fish. We left, and won’t be back anytime soon unless I get an apology from the management. Ridiculous!
There is often a wait on weekend mornings but that's because the food is so good. It's quite noisy with a crowd but the food is delicious and the serving size is generous. The servers are attentive and friendly.
Nice little place with great service and good prices. Everything was good but the pancakes were tasteless..
Probably our favorite breakfast place in the area! Coffee is hot and tasty, the food is delicious and comes out pretty quick. Can't wait to go back soon!

I was looking for a place that served breakfast all day and this place does they do have lunch and they also have daily specials it's delicious if you're out and about in the Brandon area near this location, I highly recommend it.
Great locally owned place to eat! Everyone is friendly. Outside dining if you want too.
My daughter works here, so I may be a bit biased. I never had a bad meal here. All the staff is friendly, especially when my Akita and I enjoy the patio. I call ahead to let them know about what time we plan on getting there.I loved the taco salad. I think it's the Tuesday special. The edible bowl was delicious.I don't need dessert, but I've been told that the Hummingbird cake and coconut cream pie is terrific, if they have some left. My daughter says you should "Open the window and let the fresh Erin."
